I was told a story once about New Eden. When I was younger, just boy I saw humanity tear through to skies until they broke into Heaven. It was first a kite, then plane, and last ships. I was told a story that was before humanity itself was cast from Heaven. Where our wings were stripped and halos darken by sin.
The olds books from the Dark Ages spoke of a perfect world, one named of Heaven. One led by mighty called God. It also spoke an angel who lead a rebellion against his father the Creator of all things. They say his revolted failed and he was cast down to Hell, his followers we're sent as well. It took many years for the heat and whips of the rock to stops. They say that God believed that our punishment should be reduced and that we should wallow in the Hell we set for ourselves always yearning to reach for Heaven. Father tore away our scared wings and made us mortal. Now as lesser beings we were dubbed humans.
As time past and records lost we lost our way. Stories of Heaven now seem as myth and religion was formed. There are many records saying that God sent messengers to see if we were ready to reclaim our spots as Angels. But each messenger that was ill treated and were either dead or imprisoned.
After that God left us to our fate... our fate of over population and death
But we rejected his will and torn the very fabric of the skies. God may has shackled us but we had the will to regain our wings. Once we did... once we torn open the gates of Heaven itself. We set fire to it. Planets burn, wreckage drifts and bodies torn apart. We even regained our immortality. We rule Heaven now, and God has abandon his throne. So is it wrong for a Corporation, a Nation, a person to sit upon it?
Anyway, this was the story I was told believe it or not but I do wonder who will rule and how much blood will stain this kingdom |
