Yay i've used "teamwork" like the tank scrubs want and now have the tank on fire. Just for it to teleport back into it's redline

That mechanic would be so broken that it wouldn't even be funny. I could just farm kills, and teleport to saftey with no consequences, drive to a supply depot for a bit and wait for my mods to cooldown and keep doing it with no consequence whatsoever. Tanks would be invincible. (Not that they won't soon be already).
