In the Lore, it's referred to as the Plasma Rifle. That's why I call it the Plasma Rifle. |

What's wrong with just calling it a plasma shotgun, or just leave it as submachine gun. I swear Dusties make things more complicated than they need to be.
Well, there's a couple of reasons:
1: Those names are too boring. It doesn't excite me when I see Assault Rifle or Sniper on the killfeed, and although it wouldn't help much by changing the name, it would help
2: The misleading, as when people see Assault RIfle, they think mid-long range, decent DPS, when in fact the Plasma Rifle is a short-mid range high DPS rifle. By making the names changed, it would help on that front with what range it should be at (if you say that wouldn't help, I've seen otherwise). |
