While this is a true statement, lets look at the weapons that have been accused of op ness, correctly or not!!
LR -people had a problem that it could do to much damage!! However consider the fact that damage amps up over time, this makes "chop strafing" useless because for every sec you out of the beam if the user builds up heat negating your sidestepping when your caught in the beam!!
SL -people claimed it was undodgeable aoe weapon
MD - People claimed it was undodgeable aoe weapon
FL - Same again
AA - Thevaim assist moves your barrel approximately 1m before slipping of, however if the target chop strafes, the move back in to the stick zone, meaning the gun tracjs someone who chop strafes perfectly without user input!!
I think ccp purposely put the stick in to stop chop strafing, look at the example pretty much every weapon deemed op nulifies chop strafing!!

True, but there always outliers, look at the pattern though most supposedly op weapons are aoe, or anti-chop strafing!! |

Yeah but it also shoots searing hot balls of condensed energy from a barrel at escape velocity, no recoil reduction system gonna stop that having a kick!!
Also the shotgun with the same tech needs an armature to stop you ripping your arm off everytime you fire it!! |

Its just when you have a weapon like the blaster rifle (REAL NAME ) you wouldn't even bother putting recoil reduction tech in there, it would be redundant, but I would expect heavies to have less kick because of there strength and powered suit mechanics! |

Sorry but if you use ARs, and lose a 1v1 to ANY suit within 100m, then you suck, kill yourself. AR Scout vs. Shotgun Heavy. Fight starts at 2m range. Post video to prove you win these encounters routinely.
I saw a shotgun weilding sentienel once, he bricked tanked and basically walked towards, until you died, it was like the terminator!! [Shakely lowers tea cup to saucer] ill never forget that day, never!! |

Which I find is the problem, it should be 60niche/40ar the only thing is when you get the weapon out of its niche it should then be 10niche/90 ar
