Now more than ever, the Triage Hives shows its superiority over the Repair Tool. More SP gain, usable for the user, and now you cant even see Hp bars anymore, and Triage Hives ensures that you won't miss any blue that needs healing + it's flat out faster when you are with 3+ people. |

And this is a problem? If you're repping with the Repair Tool in battle you're doing it, and being stationary is god-send since you can sometimes rep while in battle, without losing a gun on the field. I can last an entire Skirmish match sometimes on Triage Hives/Allotek Hives. Supply Depot if I ever need to reload. |

They are good, wouldn't say they are better though. It really depends on the situation. I usually rep people as we move in a group. |

I dont use either, repair tools flat out suck and if you don't have any armor regen then sucks to be you. I use a advanced injector though. I don't use Triage hives because they use to many nanites. |

Protip: 1. Find downed squad member 2. Thrown triage nanohive on him/her 3. Revive with injector 4. ??? 5. Survivability rate profits.
And on whether THives are better than the rep tool, I'd say it all comes down to preference. Since either equipment requires a different skill to unlock further tiers (tiers cause tears, vote for tiercide) then the equipment you unlock further will have a greater benefit.
But if you have both prototype repair tools and prototype triage hives, then I think the dual-stream reppers like the Six Kin Triage can outperform hives in some situations, whilst hives may be better if your team is constantly defending one point. Really depends how the battle goes to determine which equipment is better than the other for that one scenario. |

i'm still liking the Core Repair with Hives. I can give ammo and Fast rep someone. The Rep Hive repair first, and then gives you ammo. |

If they need to do anything, they need to buff Repair Tools so that they are a reasonable combat action. As it stands, Prototype are the only level where a Logi would better serve as a repairer than a fighter, whereas the same role in EVE (Logistics Cruiser) relies entirely on it's healing ability. Another similar role in the same game genre, the TF2 Medic, is actively rewarded for healing, getting more points for assist than anyone else (Guardian Reward{TF2 Medic Assist} > Kill Assist{TF2 Kill Assist}), gets healed inherently (Logistics Skill Bonus{TF2 Medic Self Heal}), and has his Medigun be more effective that adding his own firepower to a battle. This last point is where the DUST Logistics falls horrendously flat. The Prototype Repair Tools ALMOST hit the mark, with the dual targeting or the Core's shear output, but they still don't reach the point where I'd be more helpful healing in combat than shooting my AR. If the Logistics suits had an across-the-board bonus to Repair Tools, or the Repair Tools themselves were just BETTER, then we would have true Logis. As it stands, I can mildly sympathize with my brothers who choose to tank their suits to the brim, what with the short TTKs and ineffective battle reps. |

it should just be another tool in logi hands and it is so yea i don't see the problem because there is only a limited number they can hold so it work out just fine. |
