Another Amarrian sidearm, one preferably not including heat, that is Automatic would really interest me, a scout. I'm being hyper vague because I'm not sure what one should be like, but:
+No Heat
+High Damage
-Small Clip, maybe 18-25 shots
=High RoF, lower than SMG's though
+Accurate
=Pretty quick reload but it happens frequently (small clip)
The concept is that you quickly dispense a small number of high damage pulses down, quickly reload, and finish them off. A clip though should probably be able to dispense of an average tanked medium (as in maybe and enhanced and basic shield extender) though unlikely we should find an average tanked medium in this game.
The reason why I would adore this weapon is that
A) I am a scout
B) I'm a scrambler pistol enthusiast
C) Sometimes I need an SMG for the situation but with my own flavor
But make sure its accuracy is sub-Scrambler pistol. An SMG is automatic you know. |

I only know of the Magsec SMG from people talking about it being a planned weapon along with the others (rail rifle, precision rifle, combat rifle) but if you apply the usual Caldari traits to an SMG, it would have increased range, power, and accuracy but at the cost of rate of fire and clip capacity.
Well what would your idea of a no - heat Amarr SMG be? |

Continuous as in full-auto.
It is sensible for the pistol to not have a heat gauge since there is time between shots and reloading because of small clip size for the heat built up by producing the laser to dissipate. However, if you are putting out laser shots as fast as something called an SMG would, then there wouldn't enough time for the heat to dissipate, hence the heat buildup.
Yeah but it's clip gets used up so fast so that doesn't happen. |
