Now hold on...before you get all sorts of ways pissy and pull out your forum flamethrower lol
How did we get to be a clone in Dust 514? Do we have families? Do we live in our little home base with our bunk bed and savvy couch (Amarr?) and big screen TV that always plays the droplink and Guristas logo?
When were we born? Where were we born? Do we have friends? Do we go and have a beer after we get done with battling? Do we sleep? Do we eat? Do we have girlfriends or boyfriends? Do we shag each other? lol
So many questions...so this is what I think:
A story mode game would be cool....something that shows our origins, how we enlisted...how the clone technology is utilized and stabilizes our society. We could go on pre-Dust 514, pre-clone battles...possibly COD or BF style mixed with Gears of War / Mass Effect.
We could have a story....choose Amarr, Gallente, Caldari or Minmatar and we go through an RPG style game...we get familiar with the weapons from Dust 514 and tactics on how to train with them and master them and so on and so fourth. That would provide a good training tool for "newbie" players in Dust.
Think of it....a game that has an ending and shows us how we volunteered to become a cloneable(sp?) entity. Something like that....it would be a good origin story plus I think it would attract lots of new gamers to Dust 514 and possibly even create a lot of money for CCP to develop future games, develop Dust 514 even more and have a certified hard copy game in stores.
Sort of like what they attempted to do with Defiance, except not lame and not based off some stupid TV show. Idk...just a thought. |

AKA PVE...Missions and monsters, a quest for Syrim fans and of course Incursion mode would be nice too, has a base of Eve storyline already made with far more isk potential than Mission mode ever has. |
