because back then hit detection and shot registration were ****, so even though you were accurate, only half of your shots gave damage. |

Because AA does not exist in a vacuum. People are also dying more because they don't know the maps and are existing in chaos rather than controlled chaos. They are dying more because matchmaking has upped the average skill level of the competition (to a certain extent). Their stress hormones are higher because of frequent disconnects and other issues meaning they 'feel' every kill more and thus rage about AA as it is a good target for said rage.
Also, glitched-as-**** hitboxes, hit detection issues, and client/server lag are disguising themselves as "Aimbot". |

don't listen to those guys. chromosome was the best build dust had. hit detection was fine, i used proto ar's, smg's, snipers and it was fine. server stability was kinda eh. you'll always hear the vets say "remember back in chromosome?". people are complaining because now there dying just like they did in chromosome, simple as that. |

There were plenty of complaints about aim assist in Chromosome.
Many centred on the fact that about 70% of the time, it didn't work at all. The rest focused on the way it tried to lead moving targets with hitscan weapons in some cases, and lined up directly but missed because of the server-side delays and the game's terrible hit detection model at the time.
If you missed it, you obviously weren't paying attention, there were almost constantly threads about it - not as prevalent as they are now, because there were also a huge stack of other issues to deal with at the same time. Like the hit detection for example. |

Matchmaking? Big ******* lol on that one - from what I've seen matchmaking just gets u in the game together at the start - you still get 24 mil SP players fighting 6 mil Sp and lower players. |

Just like they did for the last build.
And like they did before 1.4.
And like they're doing now.
And like they were doing all the way back in Replication. |

I didn't die this easy as a noob in closed beta.
There hasn't been a point in my Dust experience that I died this easy. Including starting an alt a month ago and running against people with 20 million more SP.
I kill just fine, but I die so much. It doesn't seem possible to win consecutive gun fights right now as I've had to sacrifice regulators and rechargers for plates and extenders. I don't regen fast enough.
Thus my belief that you may as well run BPOs right now.

Yeah, not even close, buddy.
Look at Kain Spero. He's been grinding since the very start of Open Beta, has plenty of skillpoints, and still has trouble getting kills.
Not trying to dump on the guy or anything, just going off of his YouTube uploads.
Though, I guess running off with a bunch of ISK from his Corp leave little room for sympathy. |

I actually found the AA in chromosome to be less helpful...it wasnt too strong but I noticed on occasion it would pull me slightly off of my target if a dead body fell between us. I ran with AA off and I know most of the AR users in imperfects ran without AA as well. |
