Yes, the title is a little inaccurate but what I've found since playing 1.4 last night for the first time is that there appears to be an issue not with that all of your bullets gravitate to the nearest enemy player without you trying to - but the exact opposite.
I couldn't seem to hit anyone!
The tracking is all messed up, the hit detection has all but gone out of the window, I tried to shoot someone running perpendicular to me last night and not a single bullet hit, I was tracking him left to right and firing 3/4 round bursts, and not one single hit.
It feels like when you do have a meaningful shootout (i.e when the other person knows you know they are there and vice versa), when firing, it's more like all your bullets are saved up a few feet in front of them and when you adjust/stop/reload, said bullets magnetically attack them and take down their life bars.
In the old build you could shoot and hit people perfectly fine (once you'd adjusted to the bad sensitivity and lack of finesse that's in the game in the first place), and take their life down in real time, now it just seems like pot luck when you come into an engagement. I had heard there had been changes since release (hot fixes) so it's probably better than it was, but I'm not having any experience at all with so called 'Aim bots' either being given or received personally.

Shooting is bad now, feels like it was never tested properly. the new levels are great btw F*** being scanned every 10 seconds!!!!!

Sometimes I swear people on these forums are playing a totally different game than the one we're all here to talk about. |

Most of the time the various assertions completely oppose each other, and yet each party will swear by their observations. |

I did turn it off, play a little and turn it back in and there is a small difference, nothing like an aimbot people seem to be QQ'ing about though.
I think the aiming is fine now I've gotten more used to it.
Senstivity didn't seem to help but I have gone from 60 to 35 and I'm more comfortable now I feel. |

AA is very helpful especially for people like me who love war games but are not very good at them. If you get killed by a oh so nooby aa player he is not the one who sucks you are. |

What you are describing is all symptoms of lag, and that would explain why nobody else is having these issues.

If you want to do A, you either learn to do A, or you dont do A.
Why do you feel that this principle somehow does not apply in video games? |

Dont bother dude, if someone can say with a straight face that dying to someone with computer assisted aim is the fault of the fault of the victim, then it isnt worth trying to debate. Their heads are too far up where the sun dont shine.
Obv every death isnt the fault of aim assist, but he expressedly stated the kill was due to the help of AA. |

I will still play. But I know a stupid tryhard jerk like you will be very happy for it to be changed. I love war games I play them even if I suck at it. Unlike people like you who play them because you think its a challenge or a sport. War even in video game form is not a damn sport. |
