On the subject of LAV BPOs - I think CCP should just credit everyone who bought a BPO LAV a 7 day active booster or something and just take them away. It is so silly in a game where consequences matter to have things that are FREE.

I buy packs because i can, i got this wierd thing called a job and even the $150 pack is bugger all money for a pack that will last me a lifetime.

I can blow $150 on a days worth of paintball. Or if your over 18 you can get an hour of something even funner

Why no, if you have the money and do not wish to spend endless hours grinding isk to run with the proto equipment. It has a new look and you can in game flash your aurum equipment. Just as in real life buying expensive clothes even though cheap clothes could keep you warm. Why buy a bottle of wine for 40$ when you can get just as drunk for a bottle to 2$.

since you can buy a 50 dollar vet pack off the market. buy it for the aurum keep the bpo for free.

Hmmmmmmm. So I log into Dust. I go to the Marketplace. I use Aurum to buy a Dust Veteran Pack. I don't care if that transaction technically goes through the PSN network. That **** was bought through Dust's Marketplace.

Have been here since July 2012. Bought two merc packs, some aurum and the Vet pack. Will most likely get Elite or something else if I feel like it, just because I like BPOs. And I don't really play other games these days, not even the PS+ sub games I've got (besides Saint's Row The 3rd, it's bananas!), nor the Playstation2 games I bought for nostalgia.

So I'm not a noob, nor a rich guy. I'm doing OK and have no other costly habits. I'd say I'm a typical Playstation 3 demographic right now.

Despite having used quite a lot of AURUM fits to try out certain skillpaths before, I kind of agree with you on this...
Militia cheap gear should be the go to when times are hard, but everything should still have an ISK price tag.

I love my BPO's, but I think Dust would be better without them. Would be nice if we could test a month of Dust without BPO's to see how it would go...

I am a casual player 4 hours Per month,
When I play I don't want to grind isk to play (die)the way I want
So this works for me

Besides this game s free to play, someone has to pay for he game

So I expect a "Thankyou for funding the game" as you Pwn me I the face as I keep driving into a wall because I can't figure how to drive the shinny new toy I bought

Which requires you to buy a AUR pack
... which all returns to the main point of why players buy packs to support the devs making the game

Hey kiddo, I just tried to give you my perspective for buying stuff like merc packs. Yet you somehow took my neutral post for a pissing contest and decided that your balls are bigger, without even checking mine. Then you came here to announce this verdict, despite number of people caring about it is nearing zero. You seem disturbed and lost in the conversation you started. I advise a double dose of GFY.

I bought the packs for the AURUM I wanted and the BPOs were just a bonus. Then I spend the AURUM on more boosters. Only thing worth spending money on this game is more SP, in my opinion.

edit: Look OP. This guy will spend $50 on one ****** BPO. Take that into consideration.... Obviously people will spend money on lots of weird things that other people wouldn't. To each his own.
