<.< Has any other war in PC been written up on by the NPCs? I remember a past tourney being written about but that's not a war. Regardless if it is the first or not, we can actually say "Yeah. I was here for that." when people ask about the lore a year or two from now. :3 Having New Eden's player-made history being built up by most of the corporate community instead of just a few is kinda neat for our first year on this crazy ride.
:< I know it's only a paragraph about the war but it's still cool, right? RIGHT?

But to make a mountain out of an ant fecal mound is something else. Seriously, who thought it would be a good idea to attack the best players in the game (in the best corps) with noobs? Zerg lines of noobs is still noobs.
Lol, better to make a mountain than to sit there on our asses until they give us something new in the sandbox with little sand. I thought the zerg rush was cool since a lot of the community joined together to take part in it whether it was on our side or Eon's side. I met some very interesting people and got a new perception on some old people.
Sorry, what did you do? Maybe line up your wallet? Is that all?

Zerg lines of noobs is still noobs. Any future anti-eon attempt needs to combine zerging with higher quality. Look at TP right now, they have 11 timers online at 0300, plus all the other EON timers online in that window (http://www.dust-gents.com/districts.php?sort=corptimer). That's a lot of teams EON would have to field at once. The problem for FEC was that even D or E teams (or half an A team) could beat the average indie corp. If there is another attempt at a coalition it really does need to focus on quality, so you're hitting 15 timers simultaneously with AE, OH, NS, SI, WTF, GAC, PHI, HS, KEQ, ML, WR, etc. Not much point until CCP fix the district locking exploit though, as EON would just lock their own districts if they started losing.
I agree for the most part. There was some structure at first but as everybody can tell, corps started doing their own thing with most doing it to protect their neck...Well to TRY to protect their neck. But I think most of those corps bailed anyway. |
