If instead of a canyon under it, there was a giant gaping chasm of ACID.
or lava or something.
River of acid flowing through the map making the bridge actually necessary.
Lets get a map with several bridges, and several rivers of lava. Make it a Skirmish and watch the awesomeness of tactics, choke points, and dropships unleashed |

Make several bridges small enough that vehicles can't get on it. Or have struts and obstacles in place that make it at the very least difficult to get on.
Keep the random pipe. People do crazy stupid things on there, and it's hilarious. |

Making it smaller would be a good start. The map is too big for 16v16. In fact, most of the new maps are too big for the player count atm. It's a ghost town.

They made the whole terrain for Eventually when they have more players and larger maps. The subsections of it had to make sense in that context. It's for future scaling and works well enough now I think.
Would be more work to make 'smaller' maps. Because then they'd have to scrap it all and do it again later, but bigger |

Would be cool for a different map, but I love fighting in the large valley under that bridge.

Completely disagree. You don't need to have every part of a map populated every single moment. That's part of why I hate the old maps, they are so small and everything is forced into combat. Here with these large maps we have enough room to actually perform battle tactics instead of a giant tug-of-war.

This is correct. Maps are good looking , infantry - vehicle balanced, BUT THEY ARE TOO BIG. Maybe if we had 32 vs 32 they would be ok...but this is not the case. |

How about Lava AND acid? Now that would be cool hmm? I hope to see some more hazard environment in dust. |

What tactics? Kill 3-4 people a match and feel good that it lasted 20-30 minutes? That's boring. The tug of war is what makes games exciting, not driving an LAV to every objective, hack, kill 1-2 guys, jump in your LAV and do the same.
My idea of excitement is to hold a point. To stop a zerg. These maps are nice, but man they're boring. You would think because of the size it's hard to redline... nope. Redlining on these big maps are possible. |

Only reason why you feel like youre in ghost town is that you are not in a place of action. And having time to look around is needed, plus it feels much better. It wouldnt be that fun if youre in combat without any break. Wouldnt be real. And no not all maps are too big. In real life there are no red zones where you couldnt go.. |

what would make maps better is hazardous environments. like fire on the ground or native CPU's that try to kill you!!!! |
