I really do think we should all get a respec. I have spent skill points on things that I don't even use. I'm sure there many more Dust players just like me who have spent skill points on things they don't use. I'll use myself as an example. I spent skill points on the plasma cannon (which I rarely use on occasion)and raised to level 3 because was quite the scrub back in the day. To get to the plasma cannon you need level 4 weaponry. I regret using a good chunk of my skill points into level 4 weaponry and level 3 plasma cannon. Of course I just flat out don't want a respec without some kind of payment. Whether it'd be real money, aurum, or isk I'm willing to pay. |

Ugh. I honestly don't care if people get a respec or not, but about 500 topics have already been made on this subject. I don't think CCP is going to do it, to be honest. If they ever do it it will be when they add the rest of the racial suits, or weapons. You'll just have to cross your fingers and wait it out. |

I agree ( Even Though Im a full clsd beta vet ) I still like to spec into different thing for ***** and giggles ( You know experiment with stuff ) But when I see my perfect suit I think about the 3mil I wasted on bull ****. And I to want a respec. But I think untill they get all racial items they want into the game we will the just have to wait it out....  |

It would be nice if there was a way to just respec skills you never use. Like, I haven't used a fit with a scrambler rifle in ages. None of my fits even have one equipped anymore. But those SP point are still just sitting there. I mean, I know it's not a realistic idea, I'm just dreaming here. Would keep people from switching FOTM though. |

The new FOTM is anything that can make use of Aim assist.
So EVERYTHING except Swarms/Mass drivers/Plasma cannon or grenades..
SOOOOOOOO....
Its not like it makes a difference. You can equip a scrambler pistol on a Starter suit and go 15-4 so dont worry.... |

Broad changes to the game defeat the idea of holding players to their decisions. Why should we have to live with a decision if ccp cant live with their decisions? |

Even though I would benefit from a respec, I still say no.
I started out as a Gallente sniper, and I'm now using Caldari assault. Furthermore, I spent a lot of SP at the time on the SMG, because I like AR's, but wanted a machine gun with a scope. And I don't use it nearly enough to warrant the SP I put into it, especially since I eventually learned to deal with the Iron sights. But I did it, and good or bad, it was my decision. I could easily use that SP elsewhere, but it would defeat the purpose of the game. People say the game's about risk, and to an extent it is, but I personally feel that it's more about decisions, occasionally ones that carry risk from you making a good one or bad one. |
