More of a reflection than anything else but yall be using a lot more active scanners now. Can't seem to play a match of ambush without having the little red "you have been scanned" warning at the top of my screen all game.
For the first time ever I'm thinking of experimenting with profile dampeners. |

Yup , now scanning everything that is NOT a Proto Scout with PROTO profile dampeners.
And the ones that can abuse it the most are of course,Our good friends the Logis..... |

Yep that small change is sending a ripple effect throughout the cosmos. I was experimenting with an active scanner before but now I'm definitely using it more. |

Which is a STUPID MECHANIC the fact that it says scan prevented. If im a Gal scout with 3 Profile dampeners hiding ALONE near an objective, the message: SCAN PREVENTED is more than enough for the enemies to know there is SOMEONE THERE. I mean. Whats the point of being sneaky? i'll tell you.

I enemy doesn't see that, the person who was scanned does. Its the only downside to scanning.
I can naturally block basic scans, my Gal scout is level 4 and profile dampening is level 3.
Level 5 here I come!(in 2 weeks or so) |

I use a scanner on almost all of my defensive fits.
Sit at an objective with a nanohive, a good weapon, a good amount of health, a decent scanner, and a wall, you can get a ton of kills that way. Knowing where your enemy is without them knowing where you are is super fun.
Of course, the only way to do this is with a logi suit but...oh well |

I rarely see the enemy scanning me, but I'm always scanning. Like every 15 seconds I'm painting targets for my squad. |

Which logis have. TO SPARE.
I have Active scanners level 4 since i used them pre 1.4 to hunt as a scout, and when i scanned and a good scout was scanned i got a message that said. MARGIN OF ERROR. Is this removed? because if it hasn't my point stands. |
