If im a Gal scout with 3 Profile dampeners hiding ALONE near an objective, the message: SCAN PREVENTED is more than enough for the enemies to know there is SOMEONE THERE. I mean. THERE IS NO POINT.
I enemy doesn't see that, the person who was scanned does. Its the only downside to scanning.
I can naturally block basic scans, my Gal scout is level 4 and profile dampening is level 3.
Level 5 here I come!(in 2 weeks or so) |

Yup , now scanning everything that is NOT a Proto Scout with PROTO profile dampeners.
And the ones that can abuse it the most are of course,Our good friends the Logis.....Active scanners are way to SP cheap compared to what is needed to invest in order to counter them.... lol level 5 active scanner is not cheap friend.
I also requires a good amount CPU/PG to equip. |

Whats the point of being sneaky? No, the one scanned sees that message. The person scanning will see the message "Anomaly detected", so they still know someone is there.
Does that not kick in if other people are scanned? |
