Stop saying ScRs are a problem. If you have a shield suit don't be surprised when they kill you, they are meant to. I'm in an armor suit, I'm sure I will hate the combat rifle with a passion, but I won't think they are op when they kill me, they are meant to. I might even get one, they will probably be pretty fun and easy to fit. The overly effective aim assist and nerf to strafing make any aim-assisted weapon a problem, not just the ScR. |

Yeah, I miss having a 400 EHP suit that could sprint strafe at ~8m/s. Now I have to stack complex plates and hope my opponent doesn't have a Duvolle. Might as well make the damn game turn based... |

That and the fact they changed the skill to reduce overheating. The overheat was the only thing that balanced the normal SR in any way this thing has nearly the same dps output that the unnerfed Tac AR had. Right now I am not sure if its OP yet but all with these changes CCP has to lool very close towards balancing... There's way to many factors to weigh in since the ScR hasn't been around for that long. Hit detection, dropsuit hit boxes, new armor values, strafing changes... the list goes on. I'm not defending the weapon or saying it needs a nerf, but you have to look at the big picture here, there's too much to go on. |
