I guess the shotgun was fixed today, good for you CCP. Now I ask that you focus attention to the nova knives. The laser rifle got its buff, the assault rifle a majorly unneeded buff, and every other weapon still works fine as far as i know. Now what i would like to see is a fully charged nova knife shot actually do damage every time. Being the weapon that takes the most amount of skill and takes the most amount of risk, it needs to work. I don't even care about all the other little things that make nova knifing tough, like back step movement speed and your 'rush' attack you want to implement, i just want the current attacks to work as they should. |

I still don't think I've ever been killed by a plasma cannon... I think they still have more work to do, but things are definitely improving! |

Nova knives work fine for striking unwitting targets dead where they stand. They're troublesome for an actual fight, but you're maybe better off with a gun for that, anyway...? |

The knives are suppose to kill a moving target anyways so long as you can catch up to them. 90% of the time I catch up to my targets without a problem since I'm a fast scout, but only 10% of the time my knives ever do damage on a target that's still sprinting even though I am right onto them.
The problem is rooted in how the instant-attack (no charge) interrupts your own sprint. There is also the faction-of-a-second delay between tapping the knives and seeing the instant-attack occurring. With both of these issues combines, your target becomes one foot too far before your knives could do any damage. |

No, Nova Knives need a major upgrade. I stopped using them because I would charge, melee a person with my ZN-28s, and they would survive. As they turn, I slash again, but its so hard to accurately land a hit with those things! Nova Knives encourage flanking, but what good is that if you can't kill anyone? Perhaps an Aim Assist would help, but then that would detract from the overall skill needed for the weapon. What do you guys think? |

CCP said that the knives have an attack arc that spans from your left to your right. So far, that arc needs to expand some more, let the knives hold their charge while sprinting, and don't let the instant-attacks interrupt the sprint.
On top of that, scouts need a buff to help the knives. Instead of a profile of 45dB the scouts should have a base profile of 40dB and perhaps even some more CPU and PG. |

^lol respect. I've done a test run with the Plasma cannon and yea it needs work but it is fun and with skill can OHK ANYONE (like a forge gun but deals way less impact/splash damage, has an arc, and you have to reload after every shot... WTF up with that?)
This is the only game I've played were the RPG is a skill weapon and not a dam noob tube.
For those that are unclear about the term (you probably never played CoD) a "Noob Tube" is any throw-able/launch-able projectile that deals splash damage and requires little to no skill to operate (impact grenades would be a noob tube).
`Sigh. Just another fun game of DUST. |

Personally, I'd like to see the ability to throw the knives short distances, and do damage. The draw back being that once you throw them, they're gone and you have to go pick them/retrieve them. |
