Nah, it happened to me too. It was kinda baffling to do that repeatedly but then it went away. Growth pains, but the matchmaking system has been almost ironed out and fixed in record time. What still remains are little niggles.

I tried logging out, although i remember it happening a few more times after logging in again and then it went away.

I posted a thread earlier because the 'algorithm' is building super stacked pub stomping teams where one side has 2-3 corp squads from pub stomper corps and the other team has no corp squads and most of the corps are no name corps. in one case, one team had 3 people from 3 different no name corps, and the other team had 10 people, 6 of which were two corp squads from pubstomper corps. The match making system is a complete failure.

Also, when I got the bug in the OPs post I couldn't get out of that screen either, O wouldnt work.

Sometimes it failed almost instantly, other times I got to the deployment screen where you can see the planet and then failed. Once I got the Scotty has errored message. Once I had to log back into the game.

However a couple of times today my squad was teamed up with a squad of SVERs, and the other team was a bunch of pubs, so while it works 90% of the time there are other times it simply fails. Other then that it's good :3

First hotfix did make it happen MUCH less often. Also, look at the right side of the screen in that video. In particular, look at the fact that there's a team chat channel which shouldn't be there until you join a match. I've even had one "game" where I was listening in on a team's voice channel while they were playing, but the team channel was empty other than my character's name, and I was still in the search screen.

So I'm assuming the game thinks you are in a game already. Logging out and restarting doesnt help the problem. Waiting for 10-15 minutes seems to help and once the team chat goes away you can Q as normal. Even when people type in team chat it usually shows up as invalid characters. I ran into this issue more frequently when in squads than going solo.

For me, sometimes quitting the game (not just relogging) worked, and other times logging out and back in worked, although I might just have been lucky on the timing.

It won't let you join another game until that team lobby you are in times out?, or you reset your ps3. I really don't want to go through another on these "reset your ps3 to fix it" type of bugs. I've been through enough of them... I think I'll just go back to the 360 until 1.5. -_-

From a total of maybe 6-7 matches 2 were almost over when I loaded in. On another couple I loading in immediately to the beginning of the match without seeing the warbarge. All the matches were reasonably well-balanced and a lot of fun.
