So I waited for 2 days and tested throughly through 1.4 to come to a conclusion. I'll just write it in points.
Pros:
- New maps and sockets (The best of 1.4)
- New updates screen
- Lasers are pretty good now.
Cons:
- Aim Assist - (not entirely bad but is too good, needs to slightly tone it down)

- Shotgun hit detection (Horrible) (Fix coming Today)
Matchmaking?
matchmaking is still debatable. I did not see much difference in matchmaking than before. I got protostomped 3 times a row yesterday. Although I can say it has become much better. Also the uneven number on different teams still persists.
My Rating : 7/10
As we can see that There is more good than to bad it is a good update and the problem seems to be the aim assist. i as a dualshock user would approve for an aim assist for us but its a bit too good here. Slight toning down works. In one match I was shooting a dude with my laser and another guy runs past him and my aim cursor suddenly moved towards the other guy !!!!!
And hence I failed to kill that guy.

I'll give it an 8. Compared to other updates we have had, 1.4 seems godly.
Yes, there are a few things that need to be worked on, but in time, I'm sure the improvements will roll in. If each subsequent patch will be like this one, I foresee mostly good things to come. |

I love this update. Although my enemies seem more incompetent than before; my tank has not been popped once.
Although it might be that my allies are better.
Either way.

They have, no squad vision means idiots are bumbling around looking for visuals and getting popped in the head! |
