I don't mind the noobs being able to shoot me now. I haven't been in a single 1-sided match yet thanks to the matchmaking (or was that turned off...) and the aim assist. I actually need to be careful when fighting noobs and vets alike. I plan how to approach, how to retreat. When to engage. Watch your flank.
We actually need to be careful and smart now vs. any opponent. Matches are close and fun now. Blueberries aren't 100% useless anymore. I'll never want it to go back to how it was in 1.3 or before.
Never.
Refine the matchmaking. Aim Assist stays for the sake of the newbros. All we need now are proper stealth/cloak modules, infantry hardeners, and claymore-style mines.
I've been hearing that the aim assist is helping people make fairly decent use of the flaylock pistol again.
The controller needs its sensitivity bumped up still, but thank goodness for the aim assist. Two-clip tangos are next to non-existent. |

Just needs to be toned down, it should assist your gun with connecting shots not turn every damn gun into a sniper rifle. was playing an awful match with a buddy of mine, 2 vs 6, no-one got in that room, they were shooting at us with assault rifles, lasers scramblers from very long range, connecting every shot and making my shields drop. Meanwhile the shotgun is now a game of russian roulette. I'm gonna go ahead and stick with the mass driver, after all people are crowding together now like I always wanted them to >:)
It's good that shots are connecting.
We were all too dependent on people being bad shots.
We would run out in the open, and jump around and strafe, because it was easy not to get hit. We would run up and down the enemy's redline, killing anyone that tried to leave it, because again, it was so easy NOT to get shot.
The game requires us to be more careful with our movements, and is making matches fun, and we're complaining about that?
I had the most amazing fight on one of the new maps, on this gigantic bridge. The firefight was intense, and you had no one DARED stand in the open with ADS, thinking themselves Robocop.
The Aim Assists, SO FAR, seems to have had a VERY strong effect vs. pub-stomping. "CCP Jesus" forbid we EVER go back to how aiming was in 1.3. Or anything NEAR it.
Wolfman did a hell of a good job, the sensitivity just needs to be increased. |
