I swear, ever since 1.4 started, I have been dying way too much. Its been very constant since the newest patch,
and I know the exact reason for what I can blame for dying so much.
It's the new maps! Beautiful is a word used to describe lesser things than them. The giant pylons in the distance, the way the sun shines on the map, the atmosphere, the new exciting layouts... I could go on forever.
The new maps have to be some of the most beautiful things I have ever fought in, and are to the point of distraction. It's hard to feel like I want to kill people when I feel like I could walk around that compound just looking at things for hours on end.
If this is what the ugly Gallente structures look like from now on, I well and truly am terrified of what the Amarr will bring. I think such splendor would bring even a hardened veteran to tears, and I worry if you continue along this route, you'll wipe out your core mechanics, none would even be able to raise their guns because they would be too distracted by the scenery.
CCP, this has to be some of the best I have ever seen of a Sci-Fi shooter. This map is tight, agressive, complex, and with the new scanning mechanics allows all sorts (not me, I suck) to take FULL advantage of the new maps and countless corridors and narrow halls.
It is -Amazing- beyond words. |

Yep, I was just staring at structures. Did CCP offer downloads? I thought they were going to do something like that, maybe I heard wrong. Would love to have a desktop or maybe even a PS3 wallpaper. You're right, the new maps are beautiful |

I know, right.
I was just standing there looking at some architecture and ker-pow. Sniper round through my ear.
I didn't even mind, really, because it gave me a chance to respawn in a different location and see a different part of the map.

Ya same here. I thought it was another aim thread. Ya, this build is fun. Now if they can fix the squads not fully deploying bug it would be fantastic. |

I really cant wait for the Amarr and Minmatar ones.
Also more weather effects like rain and maybe heavy smog in Minmatar industrial areas. |

same thing bro. i saw the new map and just wanted to wonder around aimlessly, but these stupid redberries keep getting in the way.
i even found myself in amazement when i was staring at the light posts on the map on the mountain. Galente have true art. |
