Make it based off of the scan profile of the suit being shot. |

Scalesdini wrote:I hope you mean inversely and you're not implying people need stronger aimbot assist to hit the largest, slowest dropsuit in the game. Make aim assist 10% lower across the board and make suits with lower scan profiles even harder to hit, so scouts don't get screwed by the great aim assist. |

Tell your friends, CCP won't listen unless this gets enough support, do EoN did for the Tank Petition, if you can put that same force here, it would get some serious attention. |

You want the Slowest Suit with the largest hitbox which also has the largest scan profile to be easier to target, while the smallest, fastest suit, with the smallest hitbox to be the hardest to target. Isn't this already how it works? All suits would have aim assist reduced by 10% (or more) but on scouts and suits with a low scan profile aim assist would work even less efficiently |

Why do scouts need to be tracked with laser precision? |

No. Go away. Why do scouts need to be tracked with laser precision?
They aren't! Hit detection was fixed, so the scout's tiny bit of HP actually feels like a tiny bit of HP!
How much HP does your scout have?
250?
How much damage does an AR bullet do? (I use AR because it is the most common, not because it is my preference)
31 (MLT base Damage)
How many bullets should hit you before you are dead?
9
1/6th of a clip!
How fast can you shoot 9 AR rounds?
/thread
The point is is a scout relies on stealth OR speed to survive, I shouldn't win 1v3 but 1 v 1 I want a fair chance. AR ROF is 750 RPM so that means I'd die in less than a second also my scout has around 500 HP, but still that's 1.5 seconds |

Master Jaraiya wrote:Scout's most valuable asset is stealth. Do a tiny bit of research on "scouts" in militaries. You will quickly find this to be the case. The main job of a "scout" is recon! To be able to do any reconnaissance, you must remain hidden! The speed of a scout is there if he should so happen to be spotted from a distance. Speed is a scout's secondary strength. It allows him to get away (YES scouts can still get away) NOT to get in close by rushing head on at an enemy! Shotgun scouts are useful in CQC scenarios where there is no open spaces, lots of corners etc. This way, he can use his superior stealth to his advantage in getting close to the enemy and taking him by surprise! By the time you spot a scout, it should be too late for you, otherwise, he is doing his job wrong! Good point, This makes me want Binoculars as a piece of equipment though. |
