Well now that the new FOTM are active scanners (infantry and vehicles) the game has again turned into "chase the red dots!" Deactivating squad vision did nothing to it cause all you need is either a logi lav and a militia active scanner and a HMG. Scan, find the lone wolf, jump out and murder him. This is what its all about now. |

Its so satisfying as a Scout to see "Scan attempt prevented"
I feel like a Ninja whenever that pops up. |

I kinda hope this is a true. It'd be a very sideways-unintended buff to an active scanning scout such as myself. It will have to do until 1.9 or whatever when they properly reassess what we are for. |

This is what its all about now. Firstly, there is no Militia Active Scanner, at least one that is not AUR.
Secondly, without scanners games would more likely time out and be more boring.
Lastly, it takes an equipment slot from the person using it, that is huge.

For vehicles? Yes there is most definitely a militia active scanner for vehicles. |

Don't be a Lone wolf then. or, if you must (which I do, coz its fun) bring an active scanner and dictate your engagements. Allow yourself to relearn the game at its current state.
Use teamwork, situational awareness and cover usage as your tools, they are as important as your duvolle and ishukones |

F45 for the win, it's a very good scanner. |
