Because i just keep getting put against Proto teams none stop ...I just going to have to give up trying to play this game normally, and accept the fact that i can only snipe.

You could... I dunno... get a squad? Or perhaps field some better gear yourself? Or is it really not the gear that is the issue? |

It certainly seems like matchmaking in the sense that it tries to match you with players of a similar level has been dumped. It's a shame it was nice to play against people who don't play Dust as a full time unpaid job but then again 10 versus 3 was farcical so perhaps this is the only way for now. |

It's much smarter to go against the grain and do what you want then when you don't get the results you hoped for... complain a lot. |

Fine. your initial post is not a complaining post, it's more of a passive-aggressive jab at how the game is forcing you to play a certain way. (which i disagree with)

I am a proto sniper, trust me 1.5 has alot of ups and downs for sniping.
negatives -
1 - everything has higher hp a lot of it, even with charged rifles and maxes skills it's rare to get a 1 shot short of another sniper or a head shot.
2 - ar users counter snipe us at about 200 meters with pin point accuracy, same for energy rifle.
3 - enemies have a much easier time sneaking up on us, situational awareness has never been more improtant.
4 - you can expect alot less help from your team now, we didn't get much before but you can expect none now.
pros -
1 - while red line sniping you are pretty close to impossible to find UNTIL you shoot someone and they pin point your position. still makes the stealth role a lot easier.
while it seems like their are a lot of negatives compared to positives that stealth role being viable is a big a plus. |

By all means, continue playing the game how you like to. But, I perceived that you were venting frustration based a problem you have with proto-squads. I gave you a simple solution to said problem. While my post was somewhat of a jab in your direction, I was being serious.
Just please take your, as one poster put it, "passive-aggressive" drivel elsewhere. We already have plenty of obnoxious lone-wolves complaining on these forums. |

By "lone-wolf" you mean about 80% of the global player base ? Because most people like to play games at their own pace, specially in "Console" games...you guys are funny as hell ... ;
KB/M doesn't bellow in a Console game !! (You say) ..but you also don't like Console players that plays console games.
If you ever wonder why the player base in Dust 514 is so low... well, that is why.... |

I pretty much agree with all of this.
The lack of team vision now makes my role much more important. I can still see the battlefield and enemy positions better than anyone on my team, so my role informing my team about enemy movements is more important.
If people hated the redline snipers before, just wait to se what happens now.
I only wish I could dim those huge nanohive clusters. People hide inside them. Not so noticeable when you are 20m away but if you are 300m away it looks like the high beams of a car in your face.
