hi all, wasn't the double sp event supposed to be brought forward to today as mine is still at 190K ?

No, I thought the double sp event for the 7th had been brought forward to today, all this talk of no one being able to play wednesday or thursday because of the double event starting later in the week.. |

The welcome screen states the "weekend" is now the 4th through the 9th.

They changed it so the event would start on Wednesday. Believe this was confirmed by CCP Cmdr Wang. But as ladwar mentioned, we will only see a bonus after the event, so everything will appear like business as usual until the bonus is rewarded. |

When the event is over you receive the extra SP not before. So if you play battles every day you receive your normal SP. Then when the event closes the SP is added up and you get a huge payout of SP. Please don't forget to read the fine print.
