or should i wish to assist CCP Shanghai with what little i know on my field of expertise?

i've wanted to say this or a long time now, since my previous drunken rant (see here: https://forums.dust514.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=751784#post751784) and alot of things have happened. there's soo much i want to say, but i know its all for naught, i know that to everyone else, im just a player yapping nonsensical bullshit, thats just me; i speak my mind regardless, and if you dont like it, good for you.

i know that CCP has allot on their plate, i know that they are struggling to make this game great and in ways it has improved greatly. Despite all the flaming, constant forum BS, they are doing their jobs, they are only human.

C'mon, It's bad enough when the trolling is so bad, Commander Wang basically lost it, its worse when people keep marking this game for death, EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. its happened with chromosome, its happened in uprising, its happening now. soo much of that starts to creep up on you, ya know? to just quit and embrace that negativity. when it happens, the trolls win.

but they haven't, not back then and definitely not now.

although the players don't like saying it much( probably because its been said before) but we want this game to succeed. many of us are emotionally invested in this game, including myself.
CCP will get it right, and the game they want to give to the players is there, its our jobs, as players to help them reach that goal and beyond, CPM0 or Condor squad or anyone invested into this game.

for me i want to help, not for CPM, not for Reykjavik, but to the Devs making this game possible, whether its the level deigns artists, Wolfman and his sacrificial lambs , to Foxfour, Mintchip, Logicloop and many others. Now i know people might say im a bit too ambitious but i want to step up to the plate. I want to do something, to leave a mark whether it be that half finished Fan fic, the art entry to whatever, i want to do SOMETHING to help. and i know I'm not the only one who wants to.
i know that others besides the CPM0 want to do better. that they also want to step up and take on uncharted terrain.

and in the end, i simply want to help turn a rock into a diamond. and i know its going to take a while.


So let the trolls come, let the flaming burn and scorch these clones until they are nothing but dust. but whatever it may be, i'll still keep going, i'll still support what little ideas we all have in the name of making DUST 514 a true masterpiece. my words of encouragement are nothing more than the ranting of a drunken player but even then, its enough to show my support.
