Case in point about the QQ'ers I know you are entering a game where there is some parity between people with mouse and keyboards and controllers and it is scary. Your i-Win button has recieved a serious blow and you are afraid that you just might not be as good as you thought you were. Its ok, there are many that are afraid like you, you are not alone.
ugh......alright, for the nth time.....
Lurchasaurus wrote:Aim assists are fundamental to console games because of the inherent flaws in using a joystick in a game that requires precision. its not a precision input. Especially when m+kb is in the mix.
HOWEVER, adding an aimbot isnt the answer. There is a word for it, its called cheating.

Case in point about strawmen arguments. Aim assists are good and help level the playing field between KBM and DS3. Aim bots are bad. Learn the difference. It's ok, there are many people that assume they know everything about another player, like you, and base their arguments of it, you are not alone. Its ok, denial is the first step in the process, and now you seem to be on the anger step. Next will come... bargaining i think? Anyway, what is there difference between an aim bot and an aim assist? How would you classify an aim assists?
an aim assist is a largely unseen, helpful mechanic that aids gamepad users in fine aiming due to the flaws in the precision of a joystick.
Here is a humorous take on what an aimbot is. |

I might do when you stop whining, if your that peed about aim assist, the fact a miltia ar can drop a heavy, solo, at 40m without reloading isnt a problem? Aim assist might be too muchit might not, but its hard to tell when hit detection is fixed, strafing speeds are reduced, and the armour updates by you 1/12 of a second against an ar, look at everything together, combat in general is broken!
lol im not whining, im giving feedback while having a ball at adding some flare.
frankly, im a tanker on my main, so aim assist isnt TOO meaningful to me. We all share a common goal in bettering Dust. I believe aim assist is fundamentally necessary, just not as much as we have it now. |

Prehaps it is some people report being able to use no input and track scouts, others are reporting nothing more than friction near an enemy!! Its a mixed barrel, just let it play out, get some video evidence! Dont forget hd will compound the issue, doing one at a time would have resulted in a more comfortable transistion, but now they are both here together I think it is time we reconsider the power of hitscan weaponry! ,
i can be civilized until the other guy wants to throw poop. i already said i have tested it, as well as all my friends, and we have found it to be too much. |

Yes and other people have tested it to find the opposite, if you can provide video evidence conclusive evidence, ill jump out that wagon and help throw poop until the cows come home, however until that happens, I will sit on the fence, and many people should do the same!!
unfortunately i dont have a capture card and i wont make your eyes bleed by posting a shoddy phone video out of principle. It is up to others to post that stuff :/ |
