yeah aim assist is not available for splash damage weapons. The FG is the same as it was, just a better hit detection. |

they increase the the hit boxes and turn speed on heavies which makes the FG easier to use. aim assist did nothing. |

Sorry.  It was one of those odd tangent posts yet so very important. Stuck in the back of the head so seeing this topic come drove me to the Dev Posts flipping through page after page. If anything 1.4 has generated allot of Dev Posts and this was before that.
Aside I'm still eating crow over the rubber-band thing. Had to make up for it a little bit somewhere else. |

Mechanical assistance would suck the joy out of making you buttheads scream about all the bodyshots I consistently land on your asses and my beloved splash damage making your scouts disintegrate.
And aim assistance would make the forge gun into something unplayable for everyone else on the field. Thank you CCP for not adding aim assist to forge guns. |

I actually played some matches on my main account for the first time in 1-2 months since the new build. Sadly I didn't get a chance to use my alt (I only logged into it at the last second to get the daily bonus before DT). And my alt is the one with the forge.
I will try tomorrow night to get some assault forgery on with the aim assist. Although I personally thought that forge guns would have been silently nerfed in this build due to the faster aim-speeds.

When I broke out my FG Zatara I was looking for auto kills. Didn't work like that. I had AA off and already and turned it on and I couldn't see a difference. That was with the FG and HMG.
I dunno if it works or not. I couldn't tell a difference. |
