I bet the same people complaining about the aim assist will end up crying about KB/M being OP if aim assist gets removed. The DS3 DOES NOT need aim assist to be competitive, its bullshit and people should stop propagating it. Gamepads are competitive to kb/m if you have any semblance of skill. This is coming from a PC fps player who uses a gamepad on PC PC buddy its a console game, not a fuc king PC yes, it is a console game with m+kb support. it does have m+kb support but it is still a console game though, so every console game has aim assist in some form or another. Its a standard in this kind of game industry and they need it to compete with games like BF4 with its top notch shooting mechanics. |

They are making FPS's focused around consoles and its turning the genre to ****. It has been for the past 8 years and they should stop. you could always go back to PC shooter too buddy. The aim assist isn't going anywhere just like the mass driver and the assault rifles are not getting nerfed. (not that i am advocating) |

Actually it can be anything up to a certain range. I believe the forge aim assist is at 10~20m or so but so far I can't say for certain. It is still there but I still aim by myself at the slowest sensitivity for my forge. nope anything with blast radius has no aim assist i will post the dev response here soon so you can see. |

Aim assist is necessary for a console game. Plus KBM has Raw turning, and accuracy control. |

Some say remove from pc but than it hinders all players never the less. Keep the assist and don't listen to these guys that say remove it. This isn't a game people turn on for an hour if it is then keep it. This is a game people live and breathe and neglect all other games like a red headed step child for. We log on everyday to get better, with our skills, with our aim and tactics. If you play a game to have a computer do all the icky hard part of aiming... for you?... why play it? your wasting everyone else's time. its common knowledge controller users are at a disadvantage in smooth control as well as accuracy controls. |

You can't really have a console shooter with no aim assist at all. I agree that it needs to be reduced in effectiveness, but let's make a concerted effort not to just make knee-jerk reactions to everything, okay? Step back and think. Discuss this rationally. i agree find a fair compromise |

I thought you didnt like me No one likes Lurchasaurus, this way he tries to make friends. ? Lurchasaurus you should look at page two. You said something like my friends sucks, without even knowing them. This drags me to the conclusion that you are out of arguments and rather troll and insult people? Do you even have a feeling for the world outside your screen? A bigger understanding of the gaming marked could help you realize that CCP didnGÇÖt make Dust to YOUR personal game. This is a product to earn money and not your seal of approve. Dear CCP, The most time Dust donGÇÖt even have more than 3000 people playing. There are people out there with only little time. They canGÇÖt play several games at once or the same game for an excessive amount. This people are happy if they can cut two hours of free time and enjoy some gaming. There are the people who have more time; I like to call them the GÇ£casualgamersGÇ¥, ever heard of them? Yes you have. These are the people which you needs the most because this people are the big numbers who can carry more money in to the company. Aim assist is one tool to make the game accessible for everybody (PVE could be another) and as the aim assist is now it still leaves room for your personal and individual improvement. I keep reading here that all you need to do is hold your gun in one direction and keep shooting. That is definitely not the case, you still have to aim and follow your target. Aim assist helps you following. IGÇÖm using ARs and I havenGÇÖt experienced this magical magnetism or aimboting. The personal room of improvement is as always in a FPS is the GÇ£aim and headshotGÇ¥, it is not the following, itGÇÖs aiming and having the gun at the exact point without dragging it around. (This point should be the head.) Again, I havenGÇÖt seen any automated headshots while using aim assist. I hope CCP keep the aim assist as it is, the game is hardcore enough. What we need are numbers in this game, more people p(l)aying it. I understand that it is a narrow path between an ambitious game and CoD but CCP still needs to concede something for the broader audience. Dust is hardcore enough? lmfao, go play quake, unreal tournament, counterstrike or GORE, then come back here. If you think dust is even remotely hardcore you need to pull your head from the sand and take a look around. well you hardcore guys already got pc battles |
