Cause only scrubs will tell you there is hardly a difference and only scrubs will tell you that it isnt over assiting, the damn weapon sways right to target, If you cant see it then your aim clearly is trash and you must jerk your reticle all over the place to not see it.
Ged gud scrubs dust wont be around long enough to get you better prepared for more skilled games.
Then again just another step in the direction of all CCP PVE games. Laughably ez mode, no thinking involved and let the computer do all the work. Man those EVE PVE PROs (lol) must be dying to try out the new turned based mode coming soon. |

Sounds like a scrub who needs the game to do the work for you and give you your reward. I blame you and all players like you for the dumbing down of video games to the sheer stupid levels that exist today. Its why PVP in almost every game has turned to crap because the moment 90% of the people realize they are **** and have no coordination of understanding of games they cry like inept children to the devs to make it easier so they can feel the joy of having succeed but its an empty shallow victory when someone hands it to you. Used to be you had to work at games, they took time to get better at and master. That was a source of enjoyment in itself, now causal carebear scrubs like you insist that gaming cater to you because you're voice matters equal to mine (it doesn't; scrubs ought to be treated like 2nd class citizens and jesters for the amusement of the leet).
Nothing wrong with a little assistance but this playerbase has always been trash personified in terms of gaming skill, i mean what can we expect from a base whose claim to PVP is tracking computers and autopiliot tab targeting disguised as a skillful PVP encounter, (yea EVE PVPers are trash rejects who cant hack it in real PVP games). So i understand why you feel the game owes you a level playing field in terms of mechanics, the irony of this isnt lost on me about the HTFU crowd asking for all sorts of gimmicks and tricks for them to be able to compete.
Gaming industry and CCP has ruined you into believing you had a talent for gaming when really you were just a monkey they need to stare at a screen and occupy a space in a virtual setting. |

Epitome of a ******* hipster ^^^
Sorry that moniker belongs to EVEtards they are very much the hipsters of gaming. But i do enjoy reading the responses of all of dust trashiest players coming to tell me that the aim assist is fine as is. |

That's a great speech and all, and I'm gonna let you finish, but unless you and your 10% elitist buddies are going to pay the subscription fees for the 90% of us "noobs" then you have no ******* clue how to run a gaming company. Because yeah that's what me and my 90% of more casual buddies want to play, a game where we get decimated repeatedly by people because we can't play 40+ hours a week due to real life. I don't want this game to become farmville, but I'm going to throw my money at a game I find fun and entertaining and refreshing, not a grind where if I practice and practice I might someday end up being good enough. And guess what, me and my 90% of casual buddies make far more than you and your 10% of elitist buddies, and CCP knows that... EVE is known as one of the hardest MMO's out there, and it has aim assist.
EVE is a **** MMO masquerading as hardcore because of no active gains in SP, but actual PVP is pure carebear. As for the rest of you comment, lol if you think it takes ppl long hours to be good at games, only time commitment is on games where there is a progression advantage. Beyond that sounds like you are just better of picking up a Wii U and playing the mario party series it seems better suited to your sensibilities. Meanwhile gaming skill is not always correlated to time in game. Sorry but i dont believe that everything that is commercialized has to be catered to the lowest common denominator, plenty of products can be commercially successful while delivering content to a narrower audience. Casual audience also result in casual commitments from the player itself.
But that last line about the 90% making more then the 10%, thats hilarious even if you had more buying power its about who spends more money which is far more likely to come from that 10%. |

Chrome HD wrote:I actually like the way you had to aim on your own before cause that was part of the grind for me now everyones dropping like flies just with a Militia AR you actually had to try and put a fitting together and work your way up the skill Tree to be a decent player now even new players are getting in double digits or players just running with Militia gear. (Thats just my opinion)
No QQ'ing here.
Thats kind of the issue, nothing wrong with players have an equal chance at achieving similar results but when the game implements assist to the point that user input is essentially irrelevant then the game no longer allows for players to compete on the basis of individual merit but rather a matter of who lucks out on the better end of the computers tracking system.
It really just goes to show how much this playerbase is apart of the carebear society of Dust and likely the worst PVP players to play any game. They are better off playing pure PVE and perhaps are better suited for Defiance or Borderlands (though some might have issues in BL2 given its aim assist isnt nearly as forgiving as it is here. |
