The caldari assault is being underpowered because of the shields now suck it doesn't take long to kill you now. I thought this update was buffing up armor and some other things i heard nothing about nerfing shields or anything like that please ccp fix the shield problem. |

shields haven't been touched, its hit detection and (accuracy results) of players going up. shields are never meant to win against armor tanking in a straight up fight. Shields are meant to use cover to regen shields repeatedly to win. your extra speed is meant to be used to out run armor tankers so you can retreat and regen shields quicker. armor tankers can counter by giving chase and trying to prevent you from regenerating shields. it becomes a matter of who knows more about outsmarting the other through tactics. |

yeah true but it doesn't really matter because of the aim assist i can be running away from militia gear and no matter how fast i go ill end up getting killed because of the aim assist. |

even with over 1k ehps once i am spotted by a couple people in assault suits i am toast in under 2 seconds. Given the increased kill rate i think ccp should slash the prices of everything used in drop suits by about 1/2.

People can hit you now. Shields are exactly as they were before.
They are FINALLY working as intended.
Take damage to take cover. Make a fast recovery and bounce back. They were never meant to be the be all end all, that they were.
Scramblers and Assault Rifles were MEANT to hurt you more, but you were also meant to fight from behind cover, and build back your shields.

A militia assault rifle does increased damage vs. shields. Again, Scramblers and ARs were meant to hurt shield tankers more.
On a good positive note, I'm noticing that the Assault SMGs are very effective now. So watch your approach, and if the guy firing at you is Gallente, swap to your SMG and make quick work of him. |

That only snowballs the problem. First things first, they need to take away the 10% damage boost that was implemented at the beginning of Uprising as a short term solution to the initial aiming issues and go from there. |

Shields haven't been nerfed they are exactly the same as ever..... Armour is now just more viable like it should have been. Even if it is underpowered unless you have spent months using the inferior tanking type you have no grounds upon which to complain. |

Worst theory ever if anything all dropsuits should have their costs increased by 50%. That way you actually risk something. |

The one great thing I love about this game right now is the sheer number of ways to use the new sockets to flank your enemies. I mean just today I dropped down two flights of stairs, went through the reactors, across a street, up two flights of stairs, and across a bridge all so my buddy and I could sneak up one some laser rifles. |

If you have over 1 k hp and face a group of enemies of course you are toast. DUST is all about team work. not lone wolfing a group of 3 militia people. (although lone wolfing is still very viable, you were never meant to take on 3 or 2 people with 1k hp head on with no stealth. you should pick them off 1 by one. do that by surprising them from behind and making sure that the one you killed is not noticed by the other enemies straight away) |

Ummm no. Assault rifles do 10% more damage to shields and 10% less to armour. Lasers do 20 to shield and 20 less to armour
I'm flabbergasted at the number of people who have been taken aback at the slightest buff to armor though |

Achh... Shields and armours are now fine (maybe cald should only have better buff bec 10%eff to comp extender is only 6. Its nothing :0. But nvm). Shields are mean to shoot and run. Armors are toe to toe beast. They win 1v1 in pure shooting. But if you can cover. You shoot,hide shoot chanche possition when hes regen and kill him from bh. This what it should be but theres always some but :). Armor tanking ist so slower than shield. And with rep nano they soo powerful :) (im telling about you gallente logi who put 2rep nano under hes feets and toe to toe all). I think they will work on all this stuff in further but you should be happy that mass drivers do less to shields!! These bastards will kill armor in 3 shoot, i like it :]. And btw. For caldari good choice ise LR ,SR and TAR. Shields regen fast and you can shoot from big distances and safe point. They will get closer? You run and start it again. Ty for read |

Shields are the same as always.You are just fighting people on an even ground now and you feel UP. Thats what all caldari FOTM feel like now, and i like it.... |

It kinda is because i checked on options and it has aim assist there which was turned on. The hit detection is fixed I'm glad about that, but getting screwed by militia gear when I'm in my proto suit even my adv suit doesn't seem right. |

If you are being screwed by militia gear then your opponent is probably just skilled and does not need proto gear. militia gear was meant to be able to kill proto gear, gaining SP was meant to (make you more diverse), not (better by a large noticeable amount but not OP). Proto is meant to be very slightly better so you survive more in head on fights, if you are ambushed by 1 player you are meant to have a high chance of dying. being ambushed by 2 players is meant to be a VERY high chance of death. |

The 10% buff to weapon damage was done to compensate for the loss of the weaponry skill not as a workaround for hit detection or aiming issues... |
