I don't have a bad download speed, this is just nuts. Any idea on why it takes this long to download two gigs? |

I bet there are a ton of folks downloading right now.
The bandwidth limitation is likely at their end, not yours.

Your connection to PSN is more than likely bottlenecked. It could be associated with where you are located.

Have you tried feeding your hamsters? Maybe reset your router and wifi? I have good speed, took 25 mins to DL. But the router does bug out and get slooow sometimes anyway. |

Step 1. Reset your Router and/or modem
Step 2. Restart your system.
Step 3. Try downloading again to see if there are any improvements. 99% of such problems are solved with step 1. |

Reset router , that did nothing
Changed my network settings back to automatic...... (I'm in Canada.... Netflix....... Nuf said) presto it is working again |

19 minutes to download file.... did some of you forget to open up the PS3 web browser and delete the cache before starting? Are you using a wireless connection? Ports Open or PS3 in DMZ via MAC Address? |

Because that is where Sony decided to hide the temporary files, for everything from PS3 Firmware Updates, Game Updates and PS Store Updates, go ahead and search the psn forums, I'm sure that there is still a post or two about it....even ccp at one time recommended doing so to fix some problems. |

I'm looking into a proxy server for downloading cause I have 2 playstations both at 800+ mins and crash half way during download. There needs to be a offline patch file. |
