- Awesome new map, awesome new sockets. 11/10 for LogicLoop and his fellows. Give those guys a free beer, they single-handedly made 1.4 a good patch.
- Auto-aiming is way too strong, mostly when hip-firing at close distances. I once killed an enemy without aiming for him. He tried to strafe away but my gun followed him long enough to kill him even though I didn't move the right stick.
- I've had intense lag when I didn't before 1.4. On multiple occasions in different games I killed people with an AR that were already behind cover. I once killed a guy when I was already off the trigger and had stopped shooting on my client. This lag is also noticeable when deploying equipment or throwing grenades.
- Do I need to mention matchmaking? I got into a 6v7 ambush match when there were 3000 people online. That's enough for over 90 full games.
- The team-shared minimap is really missing. I think that there's a lot more confusion and a lot less tactical play going on now. Also, I don't like it when there's 3 people looking at my back but I get shot by a shotgun directly behind me because he didn't appear on my minimap.
This deserves extra attention, because I don't know why I feel this way: - My impression is that there's a lot less feeling of impact from combat in 1.4. Killing people feels like melting a chocolate figure with a blow drier and getting shot at feels more like being yelled at. |

Perhaps not enough of a statistical basis, but I've gotten into 10 out of 10 games in less than 20 seconds each, even if the match maker estimated something like 40 seconds most of the time.
However many of the resulting games were horrible. A skirmish just ended with 7 v 10 people in it. It was practically a stealth game. |

For reference, I've mostly played SCR+SCP since the launch of 1.4, I did give the AR a spin for a few days, but it just doesn't cut it for me. |
