This is one of my very rare attempts not to troll and rather be more serious and productive.
I asked this question already, but since I was trolling so hard itGÇÖs absolutely ok that CCP didnGÇÖt reply, I wouldnGÇÖt do it to.
But this time please CCP bring some light in to the shadow.
How is the schedule for DUST514 in terms of Add-Ons? Add-Ons are no secret, we know that there will be some, but how are you planning them? Like in EVE Online every half a year one free smaller Add On or would you like to have smaller Add-Ons but every season? I would like to know if there is something you guys are allowed to talk about :).
Can we expect to see an Add-On this winter?
I would love to hear positive news about something big heading towards us.
Any thoughts from the community? |

My guess is that add-on content packages will be seasonal. CCP can push one big package once every three months according to last year's CSM minutes.
I don't know if Sony has limits on the number of submissions to QA per year, but the minutes seem to state that minor content does not need approval. |

I have no problem with that. The only advantage that I can see is that you can easily use a Add-On for marketing and advertisement better. |

They have bunches and bunches of add-ons available: The various Merc Packs, the aurum packs, the vehicle packs, the suit packs. If you are talking about expansions then they are working on those along with the point releases they are doing monthly, afaik. |

Eve Online gets two expansions a year - one in the summer, one in the winter. I wouldn't be surprised if Dust follows the same schedule. |

Probably. Especially because the 2 games interact with each other. For example when we get our FW overhaul with LP and so on it will probably be changed for Eve too, so they get LP for orbitals. |

Eve Online always does a December release for their Winter Expansion. Haven't had a November release in years.
Expect it around December 14-31. |

CCP LogicLoop said they are aiming to get the Caldari Production Facility out by Uprising 1.7. If these small updates are once a month, Uprising 1.7 would mean first week of December. That sort of has me guessing we won't get the next expansion until the new year. |

Let's not forget they've spent the past few months making the game playable and fixing the mistakes of 1.0, so I wouldn't be surprised if we don't have a legitimate expansion within the first 6 months of launch. |

Software version numbers are not real decimals. They are usually dot separated major.minor.patch names. There could be a 1.10, 1.11, 1.12... |

Yes I know, but as it is now we are going in 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 1.4 and we know about 1.5.
But now I'm ready to give my ultimate sacrifice for the community.
If a DEV could comment on the expansion topic, I promise to stop starting troll postings and will in general limit my trolling activity. This I promises you! |
