Probably.
Amarr assaults/medium frames already have the highest base ehp out of all medium suits. Couple that with one exta slot compared to the Cal and Gal suits, and you have the new Cal Logi. |

Minmatar are the only ones that should have equal slots. Their dual tankers. Amarr are armor tankers. |

They have THIRTY more hp... THIRTY. They have one less slot, and a 4% speed hit compared to Caldari/Gallente. They don't need to have more slots than the other suits, but you're over-selling the hp difference. |

As it is Amarr Assault is one of the best suits in the game if it wasnt for the bonus that only affects laser weaponry.
They have the scout stamina, Logi level CPU/PG output, and best total EHP of all with 360 at basic level and 450 at passive skills lv5.
a proto Assault amarr can pack 800+ EHP,while having a decent 7.5+ speed, armor rep and equipment +nades.
Again its only downfall is that it is a waste if youare not planning on using a laser weapon,since you would earn a useful bonus like the ones other suits hace ( +2% shield ext efficiency of the caldari, CPU/PG reduction cost on hybrid weaponry of the gallante or 5% sidearm clip size per level of the minmatar).
The amount of tanking of an amarr assault with 4 slots each would be rivaled ONLY by the amarr heavies.

what's the obsession with 'shield' tanking and 'armor' tanking? why do people have a love affair with one or the other? just figure out the best way to keep any given suit alive... why is it a problem that they have both? smh |

TBH, I really don't like the idea of them currently having one more high slot than low slot because it should be the complete opposite, but hopefully CCp will fix the slots on the amarr assault soon |
