Are they similar? Yes.
What's the purpose of this? To be fair the purpose here is about flavor, not function. Everyone wants to have things that they think are cool I see no issue with having mainly flavor options, that have small differences. |

Using Muslim in that sentence there might be just a wee bit really really offensive.

It's not political correctness that is the concern - it's the hate of a religion that is. We've been through that leading up to the genocide of World War II already, or the prosecution of Christians by the Romans, or a myriad of other hate inspired wars because someone believes differently. |

Sorry, but there is nothing offensive about referencing weapons or fighting style of a people linked by a common trait. Keep in mind I said "common trait". I guess I'll also not mention that the American military doesn't use M-16s lest Europeans get offended. Anyway, get back to the point of the post.
One last comment then I'm done: your statement reads as if all Muslims are terrorists. That is where the offensiveness comes from.
