1. You can be a diplomat all you want, as a matter of fact, it's expected.
2. We have plenty of grey matter between our ears. We don't know everything about the game, but we know some, and are always trying to learn more. And to prove it, you corrected a guys spelling for "your" instead of "you're" , but you have "crop" instead of "corp" in the title? Unless you actually meant "crop", which could work as well I suppose.
3. There are varying levels of skill in any corp. New players and vets. It's in flux, and always should be. The students become the teachers. Sometimes you learn, sometimes you teach. You should embrace newer players, because they're the future of the game, and nothing is more fulfilling than watching a new user become an intelligent, skilled player. There's more to a team than mere numbers and stats. It's about cooperation, and above all, development.
4. No. While no one will actively bug you for money out of your personal wallet, if anything, you should be donating to the corp to see it grow. But donating is your choice, no taxes, no panhandling.
5. Not right away. You can work your way up like the rest of us, and earn our respect, and hopefully we earn yours as well. Then, you can have director status. I'm not the CEO, but I'm a director and we are run diplomatically by council.
We're small, we're nobodies right now but we have vision and more importantly ambition. We have 20+ people, who are actually friends with each other, not mere co-players. If that interests you, then welcome. If not, then best of luck with wherever you end up. |
