Calculate the reduction given by modules, and apply each one individually.
The more modules you stack, the less benefit you get from each, but you still get a benefit. I would do this myself, but I'm busy playing ACV right now. I might come back in a few hours to do it. I don't remember if there's a stacking penalty on Dampeners or not...
No matter what you do, there isn't a way to reduce ANY suit below 18 Profile though, which means the least practical Prototype Active Scanner can still pick you up once every 10 seconds, and keep you lit up for 3 seconds at a time. Last I remember there was no stacking penelty on dampness, I was wondering because CPD give a bonus of 25% so for of them means 100%? Is this a waste? Btw I run a sniper on this fit, no nades, 2compacts, 3 complex dmg mods and one armour extender. Are ppl with regular scanners gona be able to see me? I'm not afraid of active scanners because of their range which sucks cause I really wanted to use them. I'm pretty sure there is a stacking penalty. I've done the math with the penalties and they come out way to close to a logical system for dampener use for it not to be the case.
A medium suit needs dampening V to avoid STD scanners. It needs dampening V+a PRO damp to avoid ADV scanners. I think it can avoid the normal PRO scanners with 3 dampeners, but it may not be able to avoid the 15dB scanner. That may not even be possible for scouts, but I could be wrong. |

That may not even be possible for scouts, but I could be wrong. A scout with max skills in suit and damp and 3 complex gets 14db ( the last scanner does 15db not 18db) so it barely makes it. Ps. The math for this is in the thread "Scout registry // killboard" near the end Oops i had 15, then switched to 18 when I saw the earlier post. |

On a medium suit, I think so, yes. |
