You know I spent too much time one one useless and broke game, I begin to wonder why I still play. I should stick to franchise games like Battlefield or Black ops or even Modern Warfare at least they don't disappoint many people. Or in this case they don't at all |

Hardware issues happen just bad luck. Even major banks get hit by these types of issues which is frankly a really scary thought |

major banks have backup servers and can still run without the servers thou it will cost them more to do so because the servers just do it better then people and faster. |

I'm under a big fat NDA that can't about this topic in tomuch detail but backup servers are only really good for soft errors and oh **** the building just blew up.

^^^you do realise this is an mmo, right???^^^
If stuff happens to the server the whole thing has to go down for maintenance, Battlefield and COD are peer to peer so there is essentially no persistent server, and therefore no reason for it to be shutdown for maintenance. CCP are doing something revolutionary with DUST and EVE, which we all know is the first of its kind, I'm surprised nothing has crashed majorly yet.
CCP will do wat they have to do to keep things running, would you rather they leave the server damaged?? |
