Foxhound Corporation is a PC experienced corporation with members who have a strong dedication to becoming better. We hope to specialize ourselves later on in a specific role, such as a Security Service but for now we're collecting ISK and plotting on taking a district again.
We're the type of corporation that doesn't care about just taking a lost because even if we lose, more than likely we're still gaining experience that will help us compete in the future. We've gone against Eon, and still are, have a couple of vets and are a very well bonded team.
You don't have to have a mic to join but it's recommended if you want to increase cohesion and it's needed for any newcomers into an officer role.
What are our officer roles you may ask? Well, in the Battlefield Division we have a ranking system that plays an important part on the field. Under the officers are Fox Operatives, Squad Members, Cavalry, Armored Cavalry, and Commando(Although this is a pseudo-officer role because they have some authority and are also hand-picked.). There is no true ranking among this group.
The first line of officers are Squad Leaders. Squad Leaders lead squads and help their squad members develop into better players by setting structure when they need it and also playing with them very often. Squad Leaders can name their squad, have their own squad thread, and have a better chance at going into a higher position than non-officer roles. Then there's captains which more than likely will just be a honorable role for a player since they're the last in command to lead a battle. Majors are more likely to take lead in battle because of there only being one Field Commander. Majors are some of the most distinguish players in the game and are most likely to become Field Commander if the position opens up. Field Commander is the Supreme Lead of the Battlefield Division. They command battles, set rules and regulations and even work out funding.
tl;dr: If you join you'll become either a squad member OR an armored-cavalry member. You would be the first official armor cavalry member because most of our Battlefield Division is infantry-only with some dabbling in tanks and dropships. As such, you might get early initiative into a corp battle so that you may bring in a tank. |
