wtf? of course they get stacking penalties, but active hardeners are calculated first. your answer is in no way coherent or understandable.

You should seriously be less arrogant and a bit more open minded. To the 2nd fit - cons: sth around 4k less EHP than a plate fit, less hp buffer for suprise moments pros: constant high res which synergizes with the repper, more speed, enough PG for a stabilized Ion Cannon
4 resist plates and no plate with a heavy rep - dead tank
That 4th plate can be next to useless and using passive which gives less than an active means less resistance, at least with 4 active you do have more resistance overall even with stacking penalties
Plus you relying on the resist and rep with your base armor, no rep dead tank at least having 6k offers buffer for you to escape
Im not arrogant because i know what works and what doesnt, ive tested it all and done it all and in PC thats where the real test is not a pub match where its random |

Thank you for a normal answer.
You are absolutely right, with all modules down you are dead, but even your 6700 Mad dies with all modules down to a single guy with Lai Dai packed.
With modules you are not that far away from a plate Mad, but you can fit that Stabilized Ion Cannon, you accelerate a bit faster and you make a bit more use of your rep.
I used Mads with plate/PG exclusively over the last months, but last week I met one of those 3625hp Mads and the Stabilized Ion Cannon simply is fun. The passive resists increase your EHP to 5500, which is enough time to let the repper and modules kick in (if you don't cycle hardeners)
Point about your arrogance still holds. |

Only becaise Lai Dai are proto and deal a whopping 1800+ damage against armor
In PC matches its all that ppl carry |
