Just out of curiosity, I am beginning to wonder about the twisted ways that other snipers have to kill reds. Do all other snipers have a cruel sense of humor such as myself? Do they all have this one particular example of a favorite kill?
My personal favorite, Which feeds my twisted humor most intriguingly, Is when I see some poor clone manning a ladder to reach some destination above. I wait until the red is almost to the top, The last rung of the ladder in sight. He/She has the hope of making it and succeeding in whatever obscure points they may have. Then, I release the charged shot and our little clone friend, Who has tried so hard, Falls to the ground. I love taking that sense of hope away. I love wrecking their plans. I, especially, love it when the red attempts climbing the ladder multiple times, Knowing they are being watched and has already been shot off. Persistent little buggers, I'll give them that.
On a further note, Heavies/Protos will only be able to obtain 50% of the hope due to me having to shoot them off the ladder half-way, involving 2-3 shots.
My next favorite would be quick scoping heavies with my Kali out of impulse, But I digress.
The joys of being a sniper are really endless for me and no matter what happens to the future of snipers in Dust514, I'll always have my own method of madness to what I do.
I just really wanted to see if there are other snipers out there like me who enjoy it and have fun with everything about it.
Things like:
-Recon
-Stealth
-Countering snipers
-Squad cover
-Dropship piloting
-Eliminating sniper hunters
-Eliminate everybody
Just having a wonder about these sorties and trying to create something nice for snipers instead an inbox full of hate.
Oh. Also, If I've shot you before at some point, Its nothing personal. Just doing my job. |

I like using my SMG to scare off an AR user. When they think they have gotten out of my effective range I just pull out meh good ol' rifle and plant one in his head :D

I like to watch as a Logi or a Medic tries to rez a downed teammate and then pot shotting them in the dome for the 2nd time..... and sometimes a 3rd..and a 4th time.
I also like countering, altough if the other sniper has more into their sniping skills and are a decent shot and I can't get a clean shot, I also like letting them kill me, just so I can spawn somewhere saftly and make my way all the way behind them, sneaking up on them to about 2 meters away... and sniping them in the head pointblank. 
I also just like running around the map with but behind my squad and quick shotting shields down or taking the last shot on someone who's almost dead. So many assist points and kills that way. |

Another personal favorite Kings. Thanks for the enthusiasm Garret. lol Sniper stories are better when they are sadistic.
And to Powerh8er: I love quick scoping the players trying to beat other snipers. Its kind of like a Anti-Sniper hunter thing I do. |

Gotta love taking out 80-90% of a red dots shields and finishing them off with a shot in the foot after they hide behind an installation for cover. |

I was hacking E on line harvest when POW almost all of my armor is gone. Then it was full again thanks to a random repping logi lav, then pow almost all gone, then full again, then power almost all gone, then full again then E was hacked and I got a free ride away! weeee. He was a confused sniper. |

I love finding the perfect spot to set up shop. I love making a whole team redirect there path do to me. After the 8th or 9th kill in the same spot they will not go that way. Its perfect because I can then channel them into the mouth of the lion. Also I love to sneak into the enemies red line and kill snipers as they are so distracted on trying to kill my team. Third I love shooting people out of LLAV's. They think they are invincible, but there not, just time the shot and watch it slowly role to a stop |

Whenever I sneak up on a sniper, I make sure to only take them down to 10% armor at first because I love to watch them squirm. Then I finish them. |

I'm not a full-time sniper but when I do, my all-time favorite is killing other snipers. More so, if I see someone using a Thale's, I will not relent in hunting them down to the bitter end. I've crashed dropships into enemy MCCs and meleed enemy snipers deep in their redline just to drive the point home.
I love sniping, but I hate snipers.  |

Well, Funkmaster, Counter sniping is just one of the many jobs you have to be in control of. You do what you can to get the job done. By any means. From my experience, lots of crappy snipers don't hinder your team but one really good sniper will. I really do appreciate a good match of counter sniping with another sniper. I give credit when credit is due. |

For some reason, all the reds I snipe stop in there tracks and try to find me, I let them spot me and get 1 shot off, then.....POP right imbetween the eyes XD
My favourite sniper kill happened 2 days ago, I was sniping on spine crescent, in the hills to the right of E. some chump in his murder taxi decided to try and run over my mates down near E. he then proceeded to drive up the hill towards me and try to run me over. After 4 attempts at running me over, he finally drove off a bit, hopped into the turret on his taxi and was halfway turned around when.....Bam! Bam! Two, shots rang out, and both nailed this commando guy right in the face!!!
I ran up, hacked his taxi and then proceeded to drive off and do some murder taxi-ing of my own! |

My personal fav is when i searched the battlefield found a sound secure spot then a wild srop uplink is put down i let the logi leave safe and sound giving him and his squad a false sense of a safe dropuplink i wait.... a spawn .the red is standing there not moving in cloak thinking of his next move while he wanders.with his right analog i aim mine to his head i feel.... complete |

I love doing the things mentioned and have similar mindset about sniping and other varied roles you can provide.
I, however do not understand the mentality of causing the target grief. I respect the fellow combatant. In RL and in a game. Joy at costing him money or loss of anything else is a sick and invalid stance to take.
I have helped to win the battle. Simple as that. He's probably richer than me and better than me otherwise and therefore my joy of short changing him is moot.
However, I have a special hatred that I reserve for cowards that try to roll their murder taxi all the way over to where I am and try to run over me from behind, fail and then get out to try and shoot me. They only succeed in meeting my skilled up SMG. |

i dont really snipe anymore as i find mixing up on the front line more fun. but when i used to counter snipe i always made sure the sniper saw me just before i pulled the trigger, was totaly worth it for the panic spinaround on the spot try and get away things they used to try and do |

Letting some poor heavy think hes safe to cross open terrain on foot, waiting til hes far from any cover and then starting to shoot at him
But no I dont go for the headshot that would be to fast, to easy, you gotta make him suffer
One shot across his front so he knows I see him, then body shot after body shot to whittle him down
He knows he cant get away, theres nowhere for him to hide, and he knows Im just toying with him like a cat batting around a mouse until I stop firing at him
Let him think hes broken line of sight and is safe before taking the final shot killing him and crushing his hopes and dreams |
