Your increased visibility on the forums is AWESOME. It seems you guys do a morning skim of the threads and reply daily, so please please maintain this! It has done wonders for me and my friends who are always wondering whats up. Rage is down, good intentions are higher, and all in all, its just nice to see devs being dudes. Well, and ladies.

I agree that this is much appreciated.
I also like the weekly summary from MintChip, and the weekly feedback/request summary that Cmdr Wang does (now LogiBro) showing what feedback/requests the Dev's have considered and what their feedback is.

They are actually improving a lot on communication and overall I think it's pretty good.
My annoyance is with people that say the communication is poor because they don't get a reply to their posts just because they put a "Dev" or "CCP" in the title. CCP has limited time and I for one think they have their priorities straight when it comes to what to reply to.
And I'm happy they are ignoring the stupid respec posts. It will happen or it won't; when they are ready they'll let us know. 1 more post on top of 100 isn't going to make a difference, no matter how many "CCP you should do this" sentences you put in there..... |

I think the community could learn something about this. See, right now the forum is feeling pretty positive with 1.4 about to be deployed and it's only natural to feel more comfortable talking in this atmosphere. If this tone were to be carried on even when a rough issue arises I believe everyone would have a lot to gain in it as a clear communication would be easier to maintain for both sides. Just keep it civil, keep it cool and we can sort anything out while feeling good about it. :) |

Features CCP GÇö now or stop releasing things as a final, finished version/product.
When CCP says 5/14 is the official release that means something. This is the same mentality that made companies stop making products that last and instead bought into this idea of "planned obsolescence".
That way they can keep selling you half baked crap again and again.
Call it a beta CCP and release it 5/14 of next year. Hey, you can add the year into the promotion too! Seems that was the only reason to release it as "final" to begin with.
