Caldari Production Facility. Also a Minmatar Cargo Hub outpost is in development. Art team has just started "VERY" basic art blockouts of it.
All "Surface Infrastructures" are currently planned to have a racial variant of each. |

Glass is just textures. And in some cases there is actual glass. Yes, its super space glass / force fields / materials.
Those numbers can be adjusted to allow for increased chances for a outpost to show up in a terrain, but that is not my decision to make or adjust. |

The primary outpost is being built up. The level designer will soon be creating / designing smalls and mediums re-using assets the art team has blocked out. This way we get our re-use of assets in. Though the level designer is free to design and block out prior to that to get the ball rolling. Then make adjustments as needed once he sees how the large sockets re-usable objects work with his original design. |

These are designed as sets. The racial sets will stay with each race currently. We "could" mix them, but that is not the direction we are aiming for. If the outpost is Gallente, it will have supprting Gallente mediums and smalls. |

Imagine all the golden stuff... It Will be pretty different from the current ones I'm guessing. Will be awesome when they eventually get ready but I agree that sticking with the more basic Caldari/Gallente/Minmatar outposts is the ideal for now. Having more "basic" diversity before stuffing all the glory of the Empire in a gigantic golden Cathedral with a holy orbital cannon attached to it. Yeah, this sounds about right. On another topic, the Research Lab looks really great. Please let all the people that worked in it know that it looks fantastic and I can't wait to play in it. It may take a while to get the thing done but damn, it's worth it. Nothing like a job well done. :D
I have on occasion seen a couple of the concept artists fleshing out Amarr styles for environments.

Depends on the play style of the players in there at the time. This map was designed to not let vehicles over power infantry. This was a very specific design direction from our creative director. However, there is a sweet spot in the outpost for vehicles. Especially an HAV. While it won't absolutely dominate, it could take some team work to coordination getting control of that location back. |

As for sniping. All sockets follow a specific design requirement about how they are currently handled. It's more about distance and accessibility than anything. |
