Anyways never lost a tank as I don't use them, but today I lost a dropship by afterburning to another guy in my squad also using a dropship to help clear out some infantry and I smacked right into him, both of us lost our dropships and our clones.

However I don't think any of us who play Dust really know what a Hot Drop in New Eden is until they experience one in EVE.... That's the really deal ****.

What I learned was I need to get in do some damage and get out. Always died because I would draw the ire of the team and they would switch to AV on their next respawn.

Core skills first, then hulls and very basic turrets at the same time, then work on higher tier turrets.

I say bad because it's frequently a forge gunner standing in the middle of the road. I've only lost a tank to the victim once or twice; it's the overextending that kills me. But by god, you cannot have more fun in a HAV. I wish we still had Chassis modules; I'd build a murder HAV :)

I've fallen from catwalks (yes, you read that right) and gotten stuck on a vertical position. I've rammed some idiots with their unfit militia tanks only to see them live and myself die. I've done the above with myself living only to see militia swarm OHK me after that. I've fallen from on top of towers and blown up (that is rare thing to happen). I've got my turret stuck in something and blown up as I tried to get the turret free. I've blown up due to failing collision detection (registering it a collision when I speed right past some obstacle). That's all I remember for now.
Medic 1879 Forsaken Immortals Top Men. 967	Posted - 2013.09.01 16:19:00 - [28] - Quote Using a madrugar in a FW match on manus peak an enemy tank was pushing B but it was only a MLT one so I came up behind it and got it, it only did light damage to me but a railtank on the hill opened up on me so I retreated to C my repper just entered cooldown as I got near the tower at C to notice another MLT tank coming towards me from the hills, no element of surprise and no repper meant I took out the tank but was on low health, I stayed where I was as I was out of LOS for the rail tank. Third blaster tank rolls up to me from B, I spun turret round hoping to wound it enough for my corpmates to finish it off before it got me, sadly my turret clipped a hill and took off a large chunk of health allowing said tank to finish me off just before I got it and about .2 of a second after my tank pops a corpmate finished it off. It just seemed comical to me because no matter where I went there was another enemy tank and if I hadn't brushed a hill with my turret my corpmate would have probably saved me. Another one I was playing domination and it was a map with lots of tall towers so I brought in a railtank knowing DS's would go for the towers sure enough I shot a few down as they went for them, weirdly though I must have annoyed this guy because he called in about 4-5 DS's that map and kept coming for me. It was weird because he only used MLT ones and had no gunners so what he hoped to achieve was beyond me. Anyway with his last DS he just came at me low and fast I shot him down and panicked as I noticed his ship was going to land on my tank. I tried dodging it but it hit and did a large amount of damage, I wasn't on fire though so I decided to drive to a supply depot instead as there was one nearby incase he tried again and I needed my repper. I got halfway to the depot and heard another DS I started looking round for and and was so distracted I drove into the supply depot and blew up. As I sat watching the death screen laughing at my stupidity the friendly DS that startled me so flew away.

Medic 1879 Forsaken Immortals Top Men. 967	Posted - 2013.09.01 16:28:00 - [30] - Quote ^ reminds me finally managed to take out a tank with RE's the other day by dancing on top of it dropping them and jumping off as I detonated them it looked quite impressive and I helped a tanker learn a valuable lesson, scouts dancing on your hull is a bad thing.
