Share the stupid things you have done in Tanks
I drove into a tightly congested Objective
I aggressed a Militia tank when I had less than 3000 EHP
I got stuck on the ground multiple times (CCP can you fix this)
That's all for today.
I'm sure Ill do something way less intelligent tomorrow. |

Ah so you sent me that. Its a heavy Polorised Repper.
Basically I have 1.5 Million SP in tanks right now. That's it. And I only started last week on Wednesday. I'm still in the process of learning how to do it properly. |

It is a heavy. I spent about half an hour with my buddy Aero trying ti fit the Heavy repper in the tank. Has a pulse of about 342 armour or something like that |

It was like a knight charging a spearman. Why are there not more people out there looking to get some blood and guts on their tracks? Lingering is one of the top reasons I get vehicle kills. Movement adds tanking, getting a +50 while cruising sounds like a nice bonus.
Its incredibly fun though.
Anyother MLT tanks on the map Die if they come down and try to fight me, unless of course they are being piloted by a "real" tanker, If I saw a tankers name that I recognised I wouldn't even drop my tank.
However I have had some luck in taking down Gunlogi's and Madrugars with this fit, normally its because the full squad organises themselves to take it out.
Had a lovely match yesterday where I was being chased around the map by 4 Proto swarmers, and a Madrugar Missile Tank. So I had a couple of my guys look for the swarms and kill them, then we baited the Madrugar into a fight with my Soma.
And the guy took the bait.
So I roll in Damage Control and Reppers already active knowing he outclasses me in so many ways get him down to half armour where he flips his reppers.....
Then we OB him.
And I get away as though nothing had ever happened. |

Has a pulse of about 342 armour or something like that Maybe it's because many Madrugars I see out there only have 4k-5k armor so 342 looks like its doing more percentage wise than if you have 6k like your Soma (of course those Madrugars probably have a ton of armor resistance).
Yup I wish I had more PG so I could fit on more resistance plating. |

What Did I Do Today?
Oddly enough nothing all that stupid.
Continued to Drive Tanks into tightly packed places.
Turret Glitched out badly as I crested a ridge into an inferiorly tanked and prepared Soma. He got me but the explosion from my Tank killed him.
Today what I did right.
Called in a Rail Tank and cleaned house of all Turrets on the Map.
Flanked a Soma with my Destroyer Fit and OHKOed him with a shot to his rear armour.
Accidentally Rolled Past a Missile Fit Madrugar, chased his ass off, and when he tried to enter the Red Line I followed him, blew his ass up, and reversed back out and back to my lines..... shame that ADS got me though.
Rolled with the sexiest damn Missile Falchion and Madrugar wing men and scored 3 Tank kills in a match, 2 Soma, 1 Gunlogi.
Had a 21/0 Round that bumped my KDR up to 2.0 |
