I am sorry that you skilled a ton of SP into the flaylock and now want that SP back.
Well I would love to get the hundreds of deaths due to the flaylock back but that doesn't seem likely does it.
So I laugh at all of you who skilled into that weapon and I am currently laughing at all of you who then transferred over to the MD.
THAT is why people don't deserve a respec. You do realize that you could just PLAY THE GAME and gain more SP right? |

THAT is why people don't deserve a respec. You do realize that you could just PLAY THE GAME and gain more SP right? Do you honestly think this is the reason? I haven't spent a single point on flaylocks (or Cadari suits and ARs for that matter) and I'm still mostly in favor of this.
Then maybe you should actually take the time to skill into the correct things once in a while. I mean...how hard is it to skill into what you have been dying to get for 1 week, 2 weeks, sometimes a month?
I mean come on! Seriously people. If you made a mistake and skilled into something that is useless...who is to blame? Yourself! Take responsibility for your own actions and act like adults instead of a child. Its a game that is supposed to be played for a LONG TIME. Take the time to play the game and request something more meaningful.
Stop with the stupid gun nerfs and whining and actually have some fun. Request new game modes. Request new maps. This is truly what the game is lacking instead of another stupid respec. |

If you want a respec, then you should pay 60 dollars to them to help make this game better. I mean seriously people. You are playing a FREE game and I have NEVER heard so much whining in my entire life. Go ENJOY the game for once instead of complaining about this and that.
This game has been a big disappointment and I am positive that it is due to all of the people on these forums. It seems like they are always taking a step back to please the community when in fact they should be working on what matters. What matters in a video game is that there is always new content.
There has been new content added to the game, yet it still feels like it is in beta form. What brand new launch game has TDM, Skirmish, and a knock off dumb downed Skirmish mode? |

Would you enjoy posting on the forums if i made you look like an idiot every time you said something? cuz thats how we feel on the battlefeild when our classes get changed
Then stop playing the game if you don't like how they are managing it. I mean...it was FREE after all. |

What did you do with your skill points when they gave the optional respecs. Screw up again? I mean seriously...
Nobody knew that the laser rifle was going to be utter garbage after chrome so I can understand why people skilled into it and found out that they desperately needed a respec.
What did you guys do? Skill into something like the laser rifle AGAIN only to find out that it still sucked? |

I agree that people who skill into things that are changed slightly for balance should not get respecs, but to assume that this is the only people that want one misses a large argument for them that I don't hear a lot about. People that skilled into Heavies (like me), Scouts, and tanks have very few of the promised options, some missing tiers (tanks) and racial variants (in the Heavy's case there is only one). They have legitimate complaints because they can't choose what they want because it isn't there. I'm fine with my Amarr Sentinel; it's a great suit. However, I would like a respec in that area exclusively because I had one racial option, and if I wanted to play the game how I wanted I was stuck with that, and tankers have it even worse than I do. Some will say that people like myself should just wait, but I don't think that telling people to wait for months to get basic content is fair, especially when other playstyles have all options available to them. When the racial variants come out I will skill into them if there is no respec, but I believe that if CCP gave those people a respec when the entirety of content is released it would be a sign of good faith, of saying that they care about those players and saying they're sorry that their playstyle was neglected in the area of content.
I cannot agree anymore with your post. But how do you expect to give some people respecs while not giving some to others? You would have people flaming on these boards even more saying how they are not treated fairly. For me, I don't need a respec at all but I would feel wronged if everyone got a respec. This is because I would have tons of deaths due to OP weapons in this game that came from a large group of people. That would THEN cause people to do this over and over and over again. Whats the next OP weapon? Lets skill into that because we know that they will give a respec when they balance that said OP weapon. Understand? |

I am perfectly okay with everyone getting a respec under one circumstance.
All SP that was used to skill into Flaylocks, MD, Caldari Logi, and Melee will be "Locked"
This is coming from someone who wouldn't change one thing in my skill tree. That is all I would ask if this was to be done. If this doesn't seem fair then your intentions for this respec are not pure. |
