And which ones aren't? This is more of a experimental thread than a complaining one.
Tell what weapon you think is OP, or not, tell why you think that, and then we can see how people's opinions differ from one another.
Me- I think that the mass driver's splash damage is too effective. UP- The contact grenades are useless now. They should give you two grenades if they have so little damage now. |

If everyone complains about every weapon then it's fine
MD's are annoying though. 1 guy with an MD is nothing special, dealing with a squad of MD's is hate inducing.
Yes, an entire squad is the second most annoying thing in this game (behind Charybdis death taxiers) which reminds me, those should be added to the OP list with all their resistance to any and everything. The most effective way to kill them is laying down proxies. |

THey still kill Light Frames with ease. Leave them as is. as for me, I still believe all the AV weapons are OP,and the Plasma Cannon is UP, but if it had a flatter falloff, a little bit bigger splash radius, a faster projectile speed, and a slight burning effect/2 round cylinder, I think it would be pretty good. Explain to me how Lai Dai's are OP Explain to me how they are not. Actually, the Lai Dai's are not OP considering that the user most of the time has to put their life in danger just to throw those things at whatever vehicle it is (this is especially true when talking about Tanks). |

They are UP, because DUST play style, maps, and gamemodes don't really support these weapons. I can agree with Nova Knives and Lasers, but there are PLENTY of sniper spots, and on the maps with a city in the middle (which is most of them) the shotguns can be the biggest killer.
Also, Manus Peak is perfect for lasers and snipers. |

Explanation:
-Assault Forge Fun is just too good and there's no reason to use the breach and vanilla variants over this one. The fast charge time makes it OP with easy to spam shots. It's better at CQC than an HMG.
-Same as the assault Forge Gun the assault MDs have bigger radius, DPS and even clip than the vanilla and breach variants. Assault MDs can have blast radius as high as 8m lol.
-With 1.4 patch Swarm Launchers has just gotten ridiculous. lmfao at this one.
-LOL AV grenades.
-Core Locus are the kings of PC. You'll see lots here by how effective they're at killing proto suits.
-Scramblers have lower DPS than ARs and range.
-Plasma Cannon should have bigger splash, higher damage and faster missile travel speed.
-Lasers overheat at 40 ammo left is a huge nerf from back where they were useful in Chromosome. Lower range also makes them difficult to use.
-HMG should have higher range and damage. Now with 1.4 patch I see a lot of them overheating lol.
-LOL at anything breach. Useless.
-Burst AR has lower DPS than vanilla AR.
-STD Flaylock is unusable.
-XOXO The Scrambler Rifle is not UP. You can't use stats to compare things like this. The Scrambler can tear through enemies like that. The only thing that is unbalanced about Scramblers is that the Assault Scrambler Rifle should overheat faster, because right now it's just a better version of the Assault Rifle. |

How about you go right up in front of a blaster tank and try to throw AV nades at it.
Please prove to me how it is in any way safe to destroy a tank with grenades unless you are above or behind it. |

It needs a damage NERF if you insist on a NERF. It's suppose to scare the **** outta you with it's splash damage so you don't go into an area. Thus denying you from that area. Which is what the weapon is for. 1 vs 1 the Mass Driver sucks against an AR/AScR user, so you can't complain about that. Get out of this thread if you're going to use logic! |
