-if you playing the game just to have fun then you shouldn't really be caring whether you win or lose. you sound like the difference matters....very much like a person who is playing to compete.

- one of the great things about PC hardware is that you can get the stuff that works best for YOU! it may not necessarily be the same hardware as someone else as there is a lot out there, all catering to the vast comfort requirement for a variety of gamers.

- if you seriously think that the choice of kb/m was because of eve players, you are SOOO mistaken. You mind is so closed here. First, the console was designed to support kb/m for a reason. secondly, MAG can be played with a kb/m. thirdly, the best players in the game are using DS3's and finally.....you are forgetting where the FPS genre began. On a PC, with a keyboard and mouse. If there is anything that doesn't belong with this game....its the controller. The FPS genre has been adapted to cater for the use of a controller...i think the word im looking for is "limited". when i play FPS's on a console with a controller, i always find it much easier to play and i do very well as result. but i always feel too slow. the controller can't react as fast as i want to.
The keyboard and mouse give the choice for a person to play their way, the best way that they are comfortable with (whether this be ergonic design and comfort of the device....or perhaps even just the controler scheme which is hardly up for contest on a controller as sometimes being horribly done) for some a controller is that comfort, for others....it's not. If you expect those who arent comfortable to make do so you can win more than you are now (by the sounds of things anyway)....then that is just selfish and you have no consideration for other gamer's and their comfort while playing.
And a final final note....YES YOU WOULD BE EXPECTED TO USE A KEYBOARD AND A MOUSE IN EVE!!! there are so many reasons why, but mainly 1) that it has a cursor. 2) you would get royally raped because the controller wouldnt be able to move that cursor fast enough when you need to give command quick and 3.......there are far too many shortcuts in the game that cannot possibly be covered by the controller. The controller interface evolved from the keyboard. No one is going to devolve a control system where it doesnt need to be done.

How many games? well, let see. Planetside 2 (is nowhere near finished) and have had balancing and hot box issues aswell as outfit and squad creation problems since its "launch".
Mag in it early days was riddled with problems. It wasnt until about 18months of it being live that is started to work properly.
Like almost any ambitous project....it has its kinks. And i am not a fool to believe otherwise. Your comment about the game being "flipping awful" is a subjective opinion....and far from a justifiable fact. "you would be a fool to think otherwise". My opinion on the game is also subjective and justified by MY thoughts and feelings.
P.S yes, free of speech is something that should be exercised at will...but to the point of being a closed minded arrogant ass? i think not. There is no "freedom to be a ****" allowed in this community. And the only reason you would use freedom of speech as a defence to what you are being picked out in saying is because you are far too much of a fairy to exercise the right anywhere else in your life. Im sick of people like your giving it all that behind a computer screen.
