So I have a minmatar light basic level three an the bonus I believe is-5% to profile per level, I also have a gallente basic level 3 with the same bonus.
I also have the racial mini scout to 5 an the gallente scout to 1 for the racial bonuses
My profile dampening is at 4 this is I believe a 3% reduction per level.
Now if I'm in my racial minmatar scout does the minmatar basic suit bonus for profile effect my racial suit?
Or do I have to wear the basic suit? If so does that mean if I wear the basic suit I don't get the knife bonus?
If its a bonus for skilling into that suit does that mean the profile dampening from my gallente an minmatar basic suits stack?
How does this all add so I can figure out my db signature to get it as low as I can? |

Also if I'm in a gallente scout suit do I still get the minmatar knife bonus because I skilled it to five? An vice versa with the gallente if I racially skill it to five but wear my minmatar suit will the gallente bonus be on my character or only on the suit Its for?
Because I think the bonuses should combine if I skilled both suits no? |

Your basic suits don't get any bonuses. Only those bonuses listed on the specialisation skill benefit those specific specialisation suits. |

Not a dev, but.....
When you are in your racial minnie suit, you get the +5% per level to scan profile reduction (25% reduction) and the max knife bonus since you are L5 minja (not sure what it is since I'm a Ganja scout).
In your Gallente suit, you only have the L1 bonuses so you only have a 5% (total) reduction to scan profile, and a 10% bonus to scan range.
A fully skilled Gallente scout has 25% profile reduction, and 50% bonus to scan range.

So if I knive a guy when wearing my gallente scout I only have my knive proficiency bonus of 12% not the added 25% even tho I've skilled the other suit?
So if I have my mini on I get 25 plus the 2% I think for each profile damp skill so with it at lv 4 my db is 33.75, so to get it under 15 db I have to go to level 5 profile dampening an use 2 complex? That should put me at 14.685 db |

Suit bonus is specific for the intended suit. If you're using the Gallente you won't get the Minmatar's bonus. Role bonus won't stack either. Why would you want your dampening below 15 db? Scanners?
You do know nobody use them. Role bonus should be enough imo.

I own with mine especially if I have a good squad that separates the enemy's squad a lot, give it time, once people get killed aloe due to disabled shared vision in 1.4 I'm guessing they'll be as popular as a faylock was, the proto is 15 db, I just wanted to see how it works so I could get under the 15 with only 2 low slots, you wait gallente scouts are gonna shot gunning the crap out of dudes.
